I am looking at replacing my current Heatsink fan and I was wondering what is the best available on the market. I was thinking of getting a Cooler Master HHC-001.

Just check these pages for the coolers you like, remember one thing though, do you want high performance or you want a silent system.
Hard op conclusion page where they put the performance against sound production. (http://www.hardocp.com/reviews/cooling/roundup1101/index6.html)
Or read the entire review (http://www.hardocp.com/reviews/cooling/roundup1101/index2.html)
Another usefull round up of HSF (http://dansdata.com/coolercomp.htm)

You can't really say which is the best.
A good way is to devide the area into parts.
Loud
Soft
RPM Fan Speed
Copper/Alli
etc
i'm sure you will work out a good one
What CPU are you trying to cool too? Intel or AMD? Slot 1/A, Socket 370/A, P4?
Also what factors are you looking at? Noise? Extreme cooling?

I kind of thought I would have needed to put more info in my post. I will be looking for one that is primarily for cooling, so anything else is a second issue. It will be for a AMD Athlon chip with Socket A.

Then you might want to go for the Zen heatpipe, it gives great performance and makes a lot less noise than other HSF.
