Keima's (keiichi's dad) problem with woman more in depth & why the two came to visit? Also, i didn't quite understand why his parent's don't like him calling them mother and father...i could use a little clearing up on that...but anyways...oki doki

We don't know, but if Takano is to be believed, it's a fascinating story. :D

IIRC, Keima was in search of something (some kind of food?) for Takano and when he was late in returning she went hunting for him. Besides, Peorth, Takano is another person I wouldn't want hunting me down. :sweatdrop

The fact that she was able to find the temple indicates that Megumi has spilled the beans (as she understands them) about Keiichi's living arrangements.

Also, i didn't quite understand why his parent's don't like him calling them mother and father...i could use a little clearing up on that...but anyways...oki doki

Don't know that answer to that one, either. Keiichi's and Megumi's parents are really cool but also a big mystery right now. Hopefully Fujishima won't take too long in shedding some light on that mystery. :D

which has translations of all the manga chapters except for 2-33 (yes, that includes chapters that aren't in tankoubon form yet.) The translations are pretty flawed, but it should be much better than going without.

I really should start studying the language again... it's been too long since I last did it seriously (1998). Since then all I've done is read lots of manga... ^^;

Well as long as they dont post scans of the manga and only have the translations it is fine. We do allow scripts here at ab, I guess this is not that much different.

Yeah, no scans, just text files. Wouldn't have a clue where scans are (no point in me finding out, since I have all the tankoubon myself :) )

Gah, I'm so jealous. :( I really, really, really, really, REALLY want to read the evil Belldandy arc that's going on right now. :( Chances are I'm won't see it for another couple years.

Well, volumes 1-23 are all the chapters up to the very end of 2000 (at least, that's what it says in the back of Colours.) There have only been thirteen chapters printed in Afternoon since then. Which means the next volume released should have nearly all of them. And I doubt they'll wait another year to release it.

... an Evil Belldandy arc. OH NO! Not sweet Belldandy! Now I'm really tempted to go spoil myself with the translations I have for those chapters (exerts iron self-control...)

Evil Belldandy? You're talking about chapter 161, which was released last month? I think people took one look at the outfit she was wearing and let their assumptions run wild. I think it was Hild's idea to control Belldandy through a dark angel-type thing, but Bell-chan isn't going to the dark side, as the current chapter 162 makes plain. Now, the big question is: How will Holy Bell react to her new room mate?

Come to think of it, Rind/Lind also ends up with 2 angels at the end of this. The new one is Cool Mint, don't know what the name of her original angel is.

ooohhh...that sounds very interesting...

This is and has been a rollercoaster ride of a story arc, reminiscent of Terrible Master Urd and The Devil in Miss Urd, though this time the action's with Belldandy, so it's more disturbing. Belldandy's new angel, the one planted by Hild, is a real contrast to Holy Bell. Almost a Kiyone vs. Mihoshi type thing, since the new angel appears to be, well, sort of manic. :heh:

It's probably unfair to use a Kiyone/Mihoshi comparison since it's an extreme comparrison for both of them. Only time will tell, I suppose.
