Macross Scramble Valkrie

Ah Ha! here is where the macross/robotech people are...
i just posted a thread in some other part asking about a video game for the snes called Macross Scramble Valkrie.

I admit I don't know a whole lot about the original macross from japan but i'm getting into macross 7 and i luv it! i still have my original robotech vf1 veritech fighter. hehehe

anyway, i was browsing ebay and i saw this snes/super famicom game called Macross Scramble Valkrie and i was wondering about it... i still mess with my snes once in a while and i'm a big fan of anything macross... eventhough i don't know a whole lot about it.. is it a good game? i'm thinking about bidding on it anyway just for my macross collection.. but it would suck if i don't like playing it...

anyway... the bidding starts at $10 if no one else starts bidding on it.. would it be a good price for a used game? you can view it here:

well ive played it, its a great game if u enjoy side on shooters, u get to transform your valkree which is kewl then being stuck as the plane form, when u can kick ass as the robot . . . well its just 1 of those mindless shooters, ok graphics but not the best . . .

Its a fun game. But like Orochi said its just a mindless shooter really that lets you transform between the different Valkyrie modes. You get to choose your pilot also although all this does is change the color of the ship(Max's Blue VF-1J, Rick's VF-1J) Its well worth the $10 though so if you really want it get...just hurry before someone else on the boards steals it :D

Also noticed you from Hawaii. Ive been living in phoenix attending college for the last year but I was born and raised in Kahuku. :D:D:D Good to see more locals on the boards!!

I have the ROM and I desperately need to clear upsome room on my comp, so this is the best way to do it, get the game and delete it from the system.

And yes, I love that game!! Just as much as I like the books!!

Yeah I got the ROM too, not bad, as good as the arcade game if not better. I just got the crappy one which has been cracked but the cheats don't turn off even when you switch them off so it gets boring.

But yeah, good side scrolling shooter regardless if you like em that is.
