Could someone tell me what macross is like

I've seen mabey 2 episodes but that was like 2 years ago, I'm pretty much sure it was macross plus. It sounds like a cool show. I just would like to know what it is like.

well ive only seen Macross Plus, well the story is theres 2 companies battling to get there valkryee used by Macross (well its on the line of something like that i should rewatch em . . .) well the 2 test pilots Isamu and Guld for the 2 companies hate each other and both love the same girl Myung, well Myung is the manager for the popstar Sharon Apple and well dont wanna spoil it . . .:D
