I know volume 1 of the tpb's are out of order so it's rather confusing... That and there isn't a issuse where you see Belldandy and Keiichi move in to the temple? Are all the translated comics from volume 1 to 10 collected into the tpbs or are some left out?

Some of the earlier chapters are missing from the tpb, however DH is releasing them under a different tpb name of "The Lost Chapters" or something else to that effect. Haven't checked around so you'd need to reverify this old news that I know (cuz knowing how longs its been, its prolly out already and I just didn't know). Hope that helps. :)

What does tpbs mean? And I clearly remember seeing how Belldandy and Keichi got kicked out of the dorm and then wandered until they found the temple

TPB - Trade Paper Back. Some people call 'em Graphic Novels, some people call 'em Tankoubon. Basically vollumised manga.
I'm gonna buy the bilingual version, so there shouldn't be any removed chapters in that.

Exactly how would a bilingual version work?

I think it would be like the LH bilinguals that I have. It's difficult to explain but I'll have a go.
Right here goes:
Printed the Japanese way (Right to Left), Majority of the text is in english with the japanese characters around the frame or sometimes in about 8-10 pt type in the frame. Can help a little towards understanding Japanese, although I think the original intent is to help the Japanese readers with english. I have to thank the publishers for this idea.
Hope this helps.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Kodansha, the publisher of the AMG bilingual manga is stopping all of its bilingual publications, including AMG and Love Hina. There won't be any more volumes. I think there are only 2 AMG volumes.
I suspect the English language copyright holders complained. Considering that the official reason for Studio Proteus/Dark Horse skipping chapters in the beginning (besides introducing Urd and Skuld early on) was because translations already existed on the net for those chapters, I suspect they had a cow over officially published english translations.
Gee, it's been ages since I've posted.

There's actually 4 volumes that are bilingual. 3 from the manga and 1 mini-goddess one. I've seen the third manga one on ebay. The others can be found at animenation.com. BTW, welcome back Welsper. :D Thanks for the tip on my fic. (I go by Dezz on ff.net)
