I've heard of Pi. For those of you who don't know, Pi is:
3.1415926245897265384...
It's the number that relates the radius to the circumference of a circle. The movie pi is supposed to be about how that number contains prophecies and some sort of conspiracy. But why is it on the eva board?

Ok well Pi is descibed as a techno scifi thriller. It is about a guy who works in number theory who is a hermit who never talks to anyone has splitting head aches is paranoid... it is really cool looking through his eyes and perspective of life. Strong symbolism is through out and it is worth annlysing to the point of EVA.

The guy believes (as many do) that their is a pattern in everything, a sequence, including Pi which is ment to be a never ending number. Upon his examinasions annalysing the stock market and realising their is a pattern the computer comes across a number it is a 216 digit number. Relgious Jews also working with the Torah how it has the numbering system throughout it.

Father = 1
Mother = 49
equals 50

Child = 50

Patterns such as these. However they are in search of the name of god, the true name which also has 216 digits in it.... the movie is low budget made by people who wanted to make a movie rather than a profit. It is all black and white with this werid cool darking effect on the camera. I believe this is why TV was created.

Either you will love it or hate it. My mum thinks I am crazy when I watched this and asked her to buy me the video IF she saw it. It really is weird, the main guy is going crazy trying to determin this number the government is after his knowledge. It has strong streaks of the Kabbalah as I stated..... thats the reason its in the EVA thread.

Also because once seeing it, like EVA it is not understood clearly... and further research must be done to appreciate it. So I must insist if you like EVA and are interested in the Kabbalah and such... WATCH IT.
