Would you live there?

I just think its interesting that whenever I watch Card Captor Sakura I'm always plagued with one of those, "I wish I was Sakura" type feelings. The general atmosphere she grows up in, its obvious that she's very loved by her family and her friends. The sky is so blue and happy, and I think for alot of us in some shape or form our childhood's may not have been very CCS-like. Lacking maybe loyal friends, close family, or just the general 'at peace' feel that life in CCS world is like.

So when I watch it, I kinda sorta drift from my world to Sakura's, with loyal friends, close family, and that happy atmosphere, so I was kinda wondering if anyone felt the same on that lol. It's kinda a weird question, but I'm getting a little tired of how this forum has turned into more of a dub bashing type thing so much as us expressing how much we adore the sub ^.^ and I hope we can change that around again, since its such a lovely anime and deserves much more than that ne?

Thoughts, opinions, what not?

I sorta envy the environment that Sakura grew up in... I'd say yea, I wish i grew up in that type of environment. :)

God yes, I wish I lived in that world. Everyone so happy and nice and functional...the streets so clean and well-kept...*sigh*

It's funny, normally I'd feel all bitter and annoyed while watching something so perky and sunny, but Card Captor Sakura manages to be sweet without being saccharine.

Things going wrong is one thing, but like snow cherry put it... the streets are clean, are there drugs filtering everywhere, people beating up other people, etc. Its one thing to have some wacky cards set loose and another thing all together to deal with mordern society's junk O.o;

That is a type of life I wish to live.... So happy.... Good friends... But the show foucuses on Sakura and Sakura's life only, so what if maybe it isn't as happy as we would think..
