Anyway, near the end of the series, we discover that Kirika murdered Mireille's parents, and that Chloe too was there. We learn that these three females were blessed by the priest to be candidates of Noir.

The most important thing here is that they are of same relative age...but why does Mireille look so much older than the rest of them??

In the flashbacks Kirika was more 'mature' than big bulgy eye Mireille, but we see that Kirika is the little one to Mireille in the present

And why is Kirika still in school and Mireille's already got a working job as an assasin?

Also Intocabbile (ohhh Intocabbile!!) was around the same age as Mireille but maybe a few years older, yet she's in charge of the Cosa Nostra?

Not sure. Don't expect Mireille to be more than a year older, though. It's probably written somewhere.

As for the apparent contradiction in the flashbacks, cold blooded killers tend to have narrower eyes. eg. when Kirika went to the Mansion after the destruction of the Soldats Village, her eyes narrowed considerably.

And Kirika's identity was assumed fake in the first ep so she could actually be older, though not be much. I don't remember what year she was in though.

Intocabile? It's a family thing.

wow, you basically asked all the questions i was going to ask.

i was curious, also, as to why the young kirika is much more older/mature looking that young mirelle, while its vice versa when theyre older..

oh well, at least we KNOW theyre around the same age...also, chloe seems younger as well..

This topic has actually been elaborately discussed on the Unofficial Noir forums and we came to the conclusion that Kirika is presently around 16-18 yrs old, while Mireille is 20. Mireille looks older at present time because European people generally look more mature than Japanese/Asian people. In reality Mireille is at most 3-4 years older than Kirika.
