I got the OVA DVD...and i can safely say it's the worst anime i've ever seen. Except for the good animation style..everything was wrong.

I mean who were the demons? why did they want to destroy everything? why did theese women and kids have theese magical powers? who were those three men with nazi tatoo's who worshipped a big whirly head then dissapeared. that's the last you saw of them...what was the point? How did the bad robots get into japan? why were they attcking?...the action was stupid aswell...spirit bazooka's..magival healing teddy bears...

And as for the chracters themselves..well it was just so boring. Who let this little 8 year old kid be part of a dangerous military force? Sakura was just had absolutely no personality or development whatsoever. That muscly one said "i will avenge my father's death" and then once again you never saw anymore on taht story..she just appeared the next day like nothing had happened. That egotistical actor was just so obnocious it was more irriritating than C-KO.The only thing taht would have saved it was if one of the girls had a relationship with the only young male character..but of course they acted like 12 year olds and nothing happened whatsoever.

Well i could go on for hours with things that were wrong. In general nothing exciting,original or intresting happened and nothing at ll about what was going on was explained.

would nyone mind explaining why they liked it?

I've only seen the 4 part OAV..., & whilst the chara designs, & the artwork, & animation were excellent.., I found the plot & character development to be very choppy & disjointed..., the TV series may have shed some light on the questions posed by Eddy..., but the OAV by itself is lacking...,

But Sakura was first introduced as a warrior in the OAV was'nt she? and she's the main character.

Sakura was first introduced in the series...
in the series, Sakura first joined Hannagumi and everything is explained since the setting of the series took place before the OVA...
