View Full Version : Just Some Stuff I Noticed...
1. In the first chapter of the OAV, during the warehouse shootout, Rally didn't use up all her ammunition before reloading her gun. When she was on the bridge being shot at, she reloaded, put the gun back in the holster and just laid there till she saw the shotgun. Why would someone put their gun away in the middle of a gunfight, even if they didn't have the chance to shoot anyone?
2. In the beginning of chapter three, when Roy showed the three girls the file of Radinov, the all looked shocked and Rally commented on how Radinov was the one trying to kill them. Becky reacted the same way as Rally and Minnie May even though, I believe Becky hadn't actually seen Radinov in any previous scene.
3. Back to chapter one. When Rally was on the bridge and the hook came along and got her coat stuck, it came towards her pointing at her. When it was hooked the bridge rail, it was facing the other way. When you see the guy in the command center laughing while at the controls, you see the wires holding the hook are completely straight.
4. This is plainly obviouse. The Cobra's number plate is BRD 529 in the manga and in the second half of the second chapter of the OAV. In the first chapter and first half of the second chapter it's BRD 520.
That's about it. Oh yeah, in the second chapter of the OAV, when Rally was talking to Washington in the ATF safehouse, she was wearing similer shoes to Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon.
Anyone else notice anything weird?

Well, I mentioned this in the Official Rally Vincent thread, but I'll say it again. In Ep 2 of the OAV, when the camera is panning across the files on Rally and May that Radinov received, Rally's nationality is listed as 'United Kingdom'.

Just to add to that, Radinov also commented on the phone that what she was reading said that Rally was American. I think those files had alot of other mistakes in them but I can't be bothered checking it out right now. All I remember is that they said Rally was born in 1974.
Oh yeah, why did Minnie May go to so much trouble choosing an outfit for the Haints Rally, when in the end she wore just t-shirt, shorts, jacket and running shoes?!? Even Becky had dressed up more formal than that and refused to go on stage.

3. I think the male audience would have been more intrigued with something else to notice.
I guess you're right about the outfit one. Why bother?
1974 would mean that when the OAV was made, she would be 21. I thought the manga said she was 19...
The time an anime was made doesn't really effect the time in the anime. I guess we just assume it's 1993.

How did Rally know Radinov had a bulletproof coat? :confused:

Well Rally knows that Radinov is a proffesional assasin or whatever u wanna call it, so i think she knew she would have some protection if something goes wrong . .. well thast what i think correct me if im wrong . . . i think i should rewatch GSC again

When you assume that a proffesional assassin has protection, you'd probably assume they have a bulletproof vest. You wouldn't guess right away it would be the coat, unless it's being worn in the wrong weather conditions.
Watch GSC again? :lol: I watch it atleast once a week. Thats how I catch out all the mistakes...

In the third chapter, when Bill went to see Rally and May but wasn't allowed in, why did it take so long for the other policemen to get him to leave. If someone had come along to kill them, they'd have plenty of time.
one stupid thing i noticed was when they're chasing radinov onto the freeway on ramp and that yellow ferrari tumbles over their heads with the slightest nudge :rolleyes:
BTW i still watch GSC but not alot, just so i won't get sick of it.
still want the excitment for years to come :D
Chapter One, the quick shootout in the scene where Rally is told to shoot Bill with his own gun. I've seen the scene a million times and I still think theres something wrong there...
Rally shoots ropes, ropes break, bullet goes through Guy1's leg, chair thrown in to Guy2, Guy2 fires shot but misses anything, but still makes Guy3 drop the CZ75 (given to him scene before), Rally jumps, grabs gun and points it at Washington. Camera angle from roof, Washington hands up, Rally on floor, Bill croaching next to Rally, 3 guys on ground moaning in pain.
Thats the best way I can explain but I don't think it's correct. The scene is so muddling...

Here's something a lecher like me could only catch… In the warehouse shoot out, after Rally get's thawked by the crane and rips off her shirt… Besides the fan service, I noticed the bra was able to stay in place WITHOUT A middle strap between the cups…
YES....YES I DID :lol: :lol:
especially with her ample bosums busting foward :p
now only anime could do that, even special effects in live action movies would have trouble with that :lol:
other possiblility...........self adhesive bra :rolleyes:
BTW, why did she rip off the shirt? The coat was stuck and the shirt was tucked into the skirt.
Now think of another reason other than fanservice...

Maybe it was Hot.
Or maybe it was to distract the guys shooting at her. Now if you were the guy about to shoot Rally and then she flashed her breasts at you, I think it would distract me for a good couple of seconds. Enough time for her to get settled and shoot me.
See I can find a non Fan Service reason.

She only really distracted one guy, the guy controlling the crane. He didn't do much afterwards.
It might also explain why the other guy shot the gun out of her hand, his aim went a bit off...

He just said it was late for them to be shipping something in. It was probably Sunday afternoon which they are usually closed. He was just packing up to leave and then all the commotion starts. He wonders what is happening then get killed.
In Chapter 2, when Radinov shoots the tyres of the truck and Rally drives through between the back of the truck and the wall, the side mirror on the right should of been smashed off. Instead it seems only one of the headlights broke (or was that in a previous scene?).

One thing I noticed, is the amount of people that flock to this series is nuttier than Radinov ever was. ^_^

In the GSC Special....
Rally enters the warehouse from the front, in the background you can see the Cobra. The Mercedes back is facing her. When she's kicked to the ground and rolls out of the way of the Merc as the drivers try to squash her, the car drives backwards towards the front of the warehouse where May is hiding. She throws two paint grenades (or whatever you want to call them) onto the windsheild ("The wipers won't work..."). How did she throw them onto the windsheild if she was facing the back of the car (which was still moving)?
One thing I noticed, is the amount of people that flock to this series is nuttier than Radinov ever was.

i noticed that rally takes her shirt off alot and may shows her lower part alot ! maybe thats y its only three eps!

No no no, thats why there should be more eps! :D
In Chapter 2, when Radinov says "Hello comrade, go with God", however she pronounces it in Russian is different in the English and Japanese dubs :confused:
