Who's your favorite J-Pop group or singer?

My favorite singer is Ayumi Hamasaki.

Mine would have to be Megumi Hayashibara.

Not only for most of the anime stuff she has done, but her other stuff is rather good to.

I quite like her Childrens Party.

I also love Hayashibara Megumi! Listing-wise, other sigle Seiyuu are Midorikawa Hikaru, Koyasu Takehito, Tomokazu Seki, Masami Okui, Sasaki Yuko, Maaya Sakamoto, Ayumi Hamasaki, too many..daaa..#.#

I don't mind Two Mix although a lot of their tracks sound the same...lucky it's the same good track ^^;
Favourite J-pop band would probably be L'arc-en-ciel, who seem to have done more theme songs for anime than any other group out there (Kenshin, Kenshin Movie, DNA^2, GTO and still counting...)
One thing I don't understand is why the Japanese still love that glam androgynous gaybo look for their male pop stars...anyone care to explain why they are still stuck in the 80's? *shudders thinking of the TM Revolution clip where the guy is wearing a white crop top*

it is true. ist like practically all the anime i saw at least had her as one of the voices. is it ture that shes the voice of rei for eva. im not sure, but my sis tells me that its true. also is it her that sings fly me to the moon too? ::D:

MY ALL TIME FAV IS AYUMI! and she is closly tied with Megumi! but Ayumi is the coolest. my fav,and Max is good, Suface is great, Utada Hikaru, Two Mix, Maaya Sakamoto,Yoko Takahashi, great stuff!!!
but ayumi is soooooo cute and she has a really cool voice too!
