DNA_Master's Vandread conjectures [spoilers]

OK then, I havn't seen ep 11 onwards yet, so don't diss me if I'm wrong, but these are my workings-out from eps 7-10...


OK then, for the doozy..

vandread 2 episode 7. We see The Boss (who is 108 BTW) waking up. On her bedside table is a framed photograph. Note the people in the photograph, in particular the couple in behind the children.

Now go forward to episode 9. Note Hibiki's flashbacks while he's climbing the rock. Not the "hibki-viewpoint" shot of a man holding out his arms (obviously to manipulate the cryogenic system) and a woman standing near by. Look at both scenes at the same time... NOTE HOW THE COUPLE ARE THE SAME!!!!

This means that the baby in the photo is Hibiki, and hence the boss is hibiki's sister...

this is what I've worked out. God but I'm sad, but I love it.

It did seem like that, didn't it? I sure thought so. I just wish they had really fleshed that out a bit more, because it would have been nice to know the full story instead of flashbacks..

Actually, I was more floored by the BC bombshell in episode 10. I mean, we all knew there were some "spy" suspicions with her, but I personally didn't think she was actually a man...though you'd have to wonder how BC got by for so long if no more than just his (her?) chest was altered...

i dont think the boss and hibiki are related, i think she was just with him, playing with him and those 2 were his parents.

i agree..it did seem like that..but...i dont reallly think they are sisters..flashbacks dont reveal as much as they should :dodgy:

I don't know... the photo seems pretty personal.

at least we know that the boss was around when Hibiki was "frozen". so there is some relation there.

Rabato had some inkling that something was not normal with BC...

hmmm i dont quite understand the smell of gunpowder, is it since he was a general in disguise or something? also i wonder if rabat knew from the smell she wasnt an ordinary woman, oh well :D yeah i kinda pity bart, what a way to go huh :heh:

well, now that I have seen the rest of Second Stage, I can say that maybe Bart will find some other girl... at least he can content himself with having BC's voice back to the female mode.

My conjecture is that Bart would still be in love with B.C. even though he knows that 'she' is a man.I mean Bart did come from a planet with no women after all,it wouldn't too hard for him to accept that B.C. is actually a man on the inside,but a woman on the outside.So come episode 13,there'll probably be a scene where Bart and B.C. are standing alone on the balcony,and then B.C. says something along the lines of 'Do you still like me?',and Bart would reply 'Yes,deeply'.Then they would embrace.Yes,that's right.

Rabat was smarter than he first appeared,although I found that monkey a bit irritating.Wonder why he gave Hibiki such a beating on the Nirvana?Was it because he was jealous that Hibiki was 'the chosen one'?

The boss,Maguno,also appears to be suffering heart attacks......a possible shock death on the cards maybe (after she reveals her true identity which could be linked to those photos)?

i dunno why but seeing bart and bc is kinda disturbing :lol: but that be interesting. i think bart could find another female somewhere :D and rabat for kickin hibiki's ass, i guess he didnt like him much, since i guess he knew he was the chosen one but acted like a fool. the photos, if your talken about the one next to her bed then yes thats her and spoiler

anyone think that grandpa and grandma are a couple when they're on the colonising ship? sister annie reacted rather strongly(like how mothers react when they've found their lost child) when she saw hibiki and as we all know, hibiki is the son of grandpa. maguno said in the first or second ep of vandread that, grandpa stole ikazuchi from them. anyone with the same idea? or it's already been proven on this board? -.-;;

just to side track a little, the orang utan owned by Rabat is real hilarious to watch. not sure if anyone noticed. during the last 2 eps of vandread 2nd stage, the orang utan upon watching all the actions outside from the cockpit, begged Rabat to let her have her ways with the ship's gun and started firing away. she doesn't stops till the ship runs out of ammo and heaved a deep sigh of relief, after which Rabat commented "Greatest money drainer in the universe more like it" :lol: she did that too in Vandread. I found it to be real hilarious that the orang utan that Rabat owned has such an fierce inclination to firing guns, she seems to get extremely high when she's burning up all of the ship's ammo
