I haven't actually seen the series but I have seen the the first part of the move and some of the second, I have also read the scripts.
You know when lilith Rei(Or what ever it is) is showing Shinji what it is that he wants as his Ideal world and how the real world compares to his fanatasy world and after all this Eva-01 was able to release it self from Rei and Rei wsa defeated but most of everybody is dead. Then we get to the part where Shinji wakes up in the middle of the night and finds Asuka and she dosen't belittle him or insult him(the way she usually does). Now she wsa dead right? How is she alive and why is she completely healed? Is Shinji still in his Dream world or something?
