Inu Yasha - The Movie

since there is no inu yaasha forum present on this site yet, i honor the general anime forum with one of my posts :), u may know or not know, that there is an inu yasha movie, that afaik premiered last december, i havent seen it and would ask anyone who is familiar with its plot to tell me where it fits into the series, avoiding spoilers, i.e. if it features a character that is killed in the series in episode x, then just tell me to watch the movie b4 taking on episode x or if it requires character development not done until episode y tell me to watch the episodes up to and including episode y (with x>y:-)


I realy wish i had asked the same about the CB movie b4.

I don't know if it has been fansubbed yet.
Although I haven't checked all that extensively.

You should probably be around episode 50 before watching it methinks. It does have an independant story from the series (or so says the trailer), so it shouldn't matter too much.

There's a write up on it in the Sept 2001 Issue of Newtype. I only know cuz I got it for the Noir section and found it in there. It's in Japanese though. :heh:
