Ive got a choice of 2
Goldy Vs misty

I'm a series continuitiy freak (yes, you can quote me on that), so I personally would go with Misfire. It sets up the story behind the "Return of Gray" graphic novel, which is extremely cool.

Don't buy either and invest in Blade of the Immortal. Your mind must grow not shrink.
Is this the Gunsmith Cats manga we're talking about?

-PjC Yes, luckily no other production company has decided to waste animation cels with another Gunsmith Cats OAV. Unfortunately many trees were needlessly killed in order to make the manga.
I'm getting the idea that Project Akira doesn't like GSC...

I would get Misfire first. You wouldn't watch an anime out of order, unlike you shouldn't read a Manga out of order.

Some people just accept things at face value and well I looks at things with a bit more skepticism. I have to admit that Gunsmith Cats is one of the most disappointing series that I have ever read. To be honest I find it and the ova to be frightfully dull.

So you want people, instead of going "it looks good... it is good." you want them to go "it looks terrible... it's even worse."?
If you like it or not really depends on your state of mind. Any series I start watching/reading, I always start expecting to enjoy it... and I do.

My main problem with Gunsmith Cats is that everything seems to be flat and have no energy to it. While I admit I admire Sonoda for his clean line work in his action sequences, those same sequences don't do anything for me. There isn't any energy or a rush I get from looking at other action sequences present looking at a Gunsmith Cats one. I just feel that you guys could find better comics and anime series that provide better sequences than what is done in Gunsmith Cats.
Besides what fun is a forum if there is only "Oh such and such show is good!" and no debate or real discussion as to why it deserves that status ^_^
I sorta got both at the same time....
Cleaned out the store...

Even if we don't agree with Mr Akira's opinion it dose make discussion more fun.

Blade of the Immortal which has the best action sequences in a comics that I've ever seen. While not really a comic, Art of the Matrix contains complete reproductions of the movie's storyboards which were made in comics form. Another great action comic that I can't get enough of is Mike Mignola's Hellboy. If anyone has any other comics they think that they would to check out in the vein of Gunsmith Cats then I can't help there. I like to read good comics not crap ^_^;;;

I sorta got both at the same time.... Cleaned out the store... Wow, you really ransacked the place! Last time I heard of anybody buying more than 2 graphic novels from a store was... well... never!
(Just kidding ;) )
Seriously though, getting both was a good idea. You can read one right after you finish the other; kind of like a GSC double-feature of sorts. Speaking of GSC graphic novels, has the GSC special been released yet? I can't wait to get my hands on it!
One man's garbage, is another man's gold..., just remember that dude...., Very true. NieA from Niea_7 could give some very good examples of this (She builds UFOs out of junk she finds in garbage dumps, and she gets a big kick out of it, too!)

Of course its out. I have it! :)
