On tv they're on the episode which they're introducing the black eva, eva-03 i believe, looks wicked cool though, i love that black color, how many of you agree?

Style-wise it's my favourite Eva. In the opening scene when they're flying it from america it looks very....ominous

I reckon the colour scheme of Unit 03 is the coolest, but its got this mask thing over its face, which it kinda looks out of place.

To anyone who's seen the drawings of Eva-04 would put it up there of the top of the "looks good" Eva's.
They probally only had a rough of it because Metal is too hard to draw. (ie. Silver paint more expensive that normal paint)

The only pic I saw of Unit 04 was from the cover of a model box. Gotta admit though, it did you pretty funky.

I would say apart from colour the best feature of Eva-03 would have to its arms and how they extend.

No, it just choked him. I don't remember 01's arm extending (at least, not as much as 03 could).

i think that the black was eva was really sick and cool. too bad it got possed by an agel supposedly and got ripped limb from limb by eva 01. oh well. it did like cool, and the color black makes it look even more better.

Back before the lists started. If Eva-01 Arms didn't extend then how could it reach Eva-03, whos arms were fully extended. And why couldn't Eva-03 just choke it back???

because Eva-03 moved towards it. kinda hard to explain, but it's arms were bent to the sides so Eva-01 could still reach it. and it tried to choke back, but then Eva-01 broke 03's neck, which put a bit of a damper on it's plans ;)

It's not really surprising how many people chose unit 01, as their Fave eva. Going beserk all the time, and kicking some major angel ass, not to mention all the mystery and intrigue surrounding it makes it my Fave as well.

no, i am pretty sure it's called the eva kai, then later when they produced eva 01, they change name eva kai to unit 00 kai, then they added the restraints thus becoming eva 00 prototype.

i kinda know what happens to the black eva from reading, the episode airs tonight, but don't you think if shinji weren't so stupid and actually obeyed orders to disable the eva, that the emotionless heartless dummy plug wouldn't have been able to totally destroy the eva and toji?

If Shinji had destroyed Unit 03 then he wouldn't have crushed the entry plug and Touji wouldn't be as hurt as he is. Any comments????:confused2

I agree but I believe that Shinji thought that if he disabled Unit-03, Toji would have been killed.

Shinji doesent have any self worth so he would rather die than hurt toji in any way, it was a decision Gendo had to make.....

I believe that Shinji knew that Eva-03 was linked to Toji (well, a he knew it was a student), and didn't want to hurt someone like that (he didn't know that his father would have something like the dummy plug).
Oh, and ryezen, you know what they call Eva-01? (I think, shogouki, or shongouki, but not sure, since it doesn't follow the other patterns, afaik).

Well I guess no one has seen the unit-04 but I read from the magazine, it looks cool, different from the other. But I think the best eva still the unit-01, Why ? The design is different from the other unit. It has horn, his cheek is longer and it has its own spirit, like when he's berserk and eat the angel.

My Fave Eva unit are :
1. Eva-01
2. Eva-04
3. Eva-03
4. Eva-00
5. Eva-02
The others are suck (especially the unit 05 - unit 13)

Yeah, I like em all but Unit-01 has to be my fav, it not only looks the coolest but is the most powerful since it has self awareness and an S2 organ. Plus I like purple. I am shocked at how few people seem to like Unit-02. It has the second best combat track record surpassed only by Unit-01. It's red, the coulor of blood! It has four eyes, it's a helluva cool Eva. I admit I love how they all look with the exception of the Eva series cuz they suck!I must admit that Unit-04 looks pretty cool and the blue Unit-00 is also quite scary and cycloptic. Unit-01 is still in my opinion the best one!
