CCS till your eyes bleed

Well I fought through rain, wind and public transport but I finally have them! Subbed copies of the entire first series of dvd.

I've only seen the majority of CCS in manga form so I can't wait to lock my self in my room and breathing in only CLAMP imagery.

I may never again leave :D

I'm happy fer ya. My first run with CCS was just a few months back and i still remember the joy of watching all the eps consecutively.

Well I'm up for air. 20 eps down before I feel asleep. :) the difference between this and the bits I saw on CN are unbelievable! Make me wonder if I'll watch dubbed anime again!

As for the mist card ep. Canned mackerel! :jdrop:

That was possibly the funniest thing I've seen in anime. and I didn't think CLAMP could out do sleeping beauty. :lol:

Yes! Another successfull convert! You've been exposed to a complete new world right? :up: So you haven't said, but do you prefer the Japanese VAs' over the English VAs'? **nods** Yes there is a strong difference between the dubs with all of its edits and the uncut, undefiled, subs. :D

The Japanese VAs (Sakura Tange, Iwao Junko, Aya Hisakawa et. al.) r00lz :D They give the TV animation that unique and distinct touch which the English VAs (or any other VAs for that matter) can never hope to achieve. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for them!

The Japanese seiyuu make most anime better then their English conterparts. i've always thought that. I don't hate English seiyuu though. They don't all do bad jobs (okay in the case of CCS they do ), and with out translation we probably wouldn't have as much access to anime.

What i find worse then the bad dubbing is the way they tend to westernied them. I can't stand that in my anime! One of the many reasons i bought a DVD player insead of sticking with VHS. With the wonders of duel langage i can avoid bad dubbs while also judging just how good or bad the each seiyuu are. :o

On a unrelated matter, how many episodes are there in the first series?
I seem to have more then i though i had. I'm up to the judgement and i still have 3 more DVD's to watch! :eek:
