Hitomi's pendant

Haloo... I don't know if anyone' asked this before but, how did Hitomi get her pendant or what is the history of the pendant with her grand mother and why is it made of the same stone as Van's gymelon?

as far as i know, hitomi got the pendant from her grandmother, but i don't think we ever find out how her grandmother got it.

i have the same problem. everytime Escaflowne and hitome is near each other, there is always some kind of a reaction.

remember when van brought hitome back to planet Gaea, he wanted to fight the enemies and win using his own skill not by using hitome's power? the pendant must've some kind of connection with escaflowne, but what?

all i know is that allen's dad found the pendant of got it on an excavation or something like that, then hitomi's gramma appears and he gives it to her, then she gives it to hitomi and i think hitomi gives it to van.

In the flashback to the destruction of Atlantis, one sees the Atlanteans holding pendants like Hitomi's.

If this image is taken literally, then we can assume Hitomi's pendant is a relic from Atlantis. This would explain its reaction to Escaflowne (another relic connected to Atlantis). Allen's father probably found the pendant either in the Mystic Valley, or while he was looking for a way to reach the Mystic Valley.

Well, the pendant comes from Slanzar and Mia. Whose resemblance like Van and Hitomi. Both have wings and has been killed when Atlantis has been burned. Their wish is to come back and save them later. That's how Allen's father got the pendant.
