I wasn't a big fan of the story in GunSmith Cats, but I did like the animation.Did this animation team make any other anime series (or movies)?
Also, are there any plans to have more than three episodes of Gun Smith Cats??

I'm not all familiar with Kenichi Sonoda's work, but I do know that he created old school Bubblegum Crisis
I don't think he'll be making anymore OVA's of GSC unfortunately. He seems to be busy working on other projects, which is disappointing :(

Kenichi Sonoda has done the chara designs to the original Bubblegum Crisis 2032-33 OAV series..., the Bubblegum Crash 2034 OAV series..., Riding Bean..., Gall Force : Eternal Story...,, the Gall Force OAV's, Earth Chapter, Destruction, & Stardust War..., & Gall Force New Era..., & Otaku No Video too...,
As to whether there will be anymore episodes to GSC.., I doubt it..., the anime originally came out in Japan in 1995..., & I've heard no news of anymore episodes being produced..., though I've heard that his latest work is Exaxxion.., a archetypal robot saga I think...,
Well ive got the first 2...
No and earths just been invaded...
Kennichi Sonoda was born in Taikashi in Osaka in 1962. Sonoda began drawing comics as a teenager, his work in fanzines eventually began drawing the attention of animation directors. After several years in laboring in anime (including work on Gall Force and Bubblegum Crisis) Kennichi began his career in comics, starting with Privates Live and then in 1991 exploding on the manga scene with has landmark series, Gunsmith Cats. Sales of Gunsmith Cats novels have psuhed past the 200,000 copies each in Japan, and the strip has spawned a series of original video animations. Sonoda concluded Gunsmith Cats run in 1997, and has since been creating Cannon God Exaxxion, his science fiction.giant robot epic, which begins serialization in America November 2001. Much like Rally and Minnie May, Sonoda is a certified fanatic for firearms, high-preformance cars and motorcycles.

Guess Sonoda has contributed to more than one worthwhile project.

Sonoda also wrote the stories. As well as doing Oh, My goddes, You Are Under Arrest, BGC2040 original hard suit designs I cant think of any other ones for now...

But to stay on subject, I read an interview where Sonoda said that he has trouble writing GSC since it mainly is done from a female perspective so I doubt that any new GSC anime would be done. And yes this explains why there are so many exploitative shots in the comic and OAV.
