Hmm eva01 in Burn Up W

After rewatching Burn up W (its been about 4 months since ive watched it :heh: decided to pull out the dvd and watch it again) well in ep 2 where Nanvel has that big purple robot of hers, well is it me or does that look like eva01?

The "El Heggunte" is basically meant to be a pretty direct parody of Eva unit 01 from Evangelion, so yes, you're correct in your assumption. I thought it was pretty amusing, especially since we get to see a mechanical savant like Nanvel (she's a big ditz in all other areas) operating it instead of the serious, enigmatic characters found in Evangelion.
