A-kon 13!

Well! A-kon 13 looks like it's going to be a blast! ^^ Is there anyone here going? My friends and I have already reserved two hotel rooms at the D/FW Hyatt. =D
If you're going, look for me! I'm going as Momo from Peach Girl. ^_^ It's going to be so fun. I usually don't get horribly excited over things like these, but this just looks great.
If you're in the general area of Dallas, you should look it up. Or even anywhere in Texas. I live in Austin, and I went last year. It was really great. ^^ It's well-organized and there are a lot of neat booths and costumes.

I'm planning to go too, but I'm still trying to find people to go with. I'm trying to get some people that would like to share a room, so we can cut costs, but since I live in an area where there is little to no anime fans, it is really hard. I still plan on going though. Maybe I'll see ya'll there. What do you plan on doing while you are there? I gotta visit the chill out room because they play ska and punk and I can bust out my Rickenbacker bass. I am also gonna check out the dealers room, the anime jeopardy, and anime you don't know jack. The panels I'm interested in are writing, storytelling, and character designs. I'm currently at work on my own manga, so it should make it a little easier, hopefully. I doubt I'll cosplay, but if I did, it would be Naota from FLCL. Now you know where the Rickenbacker bass came from :D ! Hopefully, I'll see ya'll there or something. Later!

Weelll... I suppose we plan to go to the art show, the Saturday night dance, of course (rave music all the way! =D), the dealer's room, etc. Pretty much everything.

I've already reserved my rooms, but if you want a room in the Hyatt, you'd better do it fast. The lady I talked to on the phone said the rooms for things like these go really fast, so they might be sold out soon. You'd better hurry!

I hope to see you there, too, although I don't know what the hell you look like. ^_^; Eh. Look for Momo!

Hey Elhaym! What's up? I'm sitting in Web Mastering, and I'm bored and too far ahead of this class...so I decided to post. Posting on message boards is about the only thing I can do. I haven't found anyone who wants to go to A-kon around here, so I may go by myself and sleep in my car. Hey, I've done it before. How pitiful. :lol: Anyways, I'll look for Momo, and you'll have to look for Naota. I should be wearing a light blue hoodie type shirt and a backpack plus some brown shorts. I'll be carrying around a Midnight Blue Rickenbacker 4003 series Electric Bass Guitar, the best 1500 dollars I ever spent. I may have a baise hat on. Oh well, I may not get anywhere near an award for best cosplay, but what the heck, I'm not going all out. I hope they play some Mustard Plug in the chill out room. They're my favorite ska band. Another good band is Distorted Penguins. Anyways, I guess I'm not saying much, but I gotta find something to do. I may just leave school. Any tips for first time con person? I gotta go. See ya!
