i greatly believe that a great deal of meaning in Boogiepop Phantom is to decide for yourself what it is about. yeah.. another one of those series. ^_~

what i can tell you, is that it is certainly my favourite anime series {tied with Lain, FLCL, Eva, and BeBop} and that it is certainly one of a kind.

here's the most we could really tell you about it without spoiling anything.

Invisible until summoned; they slide through dimensions as people walk through doorways. They wait, and watch the doings of Man closely ... each for their own reasons. Everyone knows about Boogiepop: meet her one dark night and you are taken. People tell each other the stories and laugh: no one believes that she exists in this day and age. Still, there are some strange things that appear to be going on just below the surface. Darkness takes many forms, though. Evil and good intermingle. The glass shatters. Time stands still. is it good? i think it's wonderful.


and let me say this: it's the only form of film, anime, etcetera.. that has ever confused me.
