Because if I went to school as a panzer next Halloween I'd be the biggest pimp ever.

Outside of making one yourself, I haven't seen any. There are a few cosplay specialty shops in Japan you might find, or on this side of the pond, you can try Alyssa-chan or someone else who does commission work. I'd just hit a military surplus store and maybe get some old hockey geer and go at it.

I've seen a few nice costumes for Panzer on the net... I think TFCreate is right about checking out the army surplus shops in your area... If you can find a nice Air Force helmet you could probably re-paint it and make it look okay...
Here's a neat one I found...

Actually, I think an old Spanish helmet would be better then an AF helmet. They look just like German helmets but they're only $30 instead of $200. Otherwise, I think it's a good plan.

I already figured out some of the parts. A jet pilot's oxygen mask would make a fine respirator, and I already have the German helmet. Still figuring out other things.

In this Fansview Fanime write-up (http://www.afansview.com/2002/april2002/042802a.htm), one of the Jin-Roh guys explains a bit on the construction of the armor.

I'm going to jump those people for their armor.
Crap that's no fair! They made their gear out of sheet plastic that they vaccuformed! I was gonna make mine out of cut up garbage cans! I quit.
I dunno, I wouldn't wanna jump someone just because they were heavily armed and armored...
And those are some of the best cosplay costumes I've ever seen, next to this one of Lei-fang I saw...
