I just love Kira Sakuya and Rosiel.

Either is fine. The manga is a lot longer then the anime so is guess it stands to reason that the characters are better.

I found Kira to be the most interesting of the characters, his story was fleshed out the most (in the anime, haven't had the pleasure of the manga) and honestly, I think overall, he is the only character I really cared about, a weapon who'd found a heart.

I like the Senpai!! He's cool!!! I really like the story or contract btw the little boy and him.... and when he was tellin the 'dad' off but deep down, he actually cared about the so called family!!

I really like Sara. She's not a very complicated character, but I feel sorry for her because of her sad story. And she's cute ! Since I saw the first OVA, I put a bunny with little bells on my bag just like her. Yes, I notice unimportant details...:rolleyes:

Well Kira was definitely the one that stuck the most with me, and I'd have liked to see a little more of Katan.

I'm going to have to track down the manga, once I've gotten over the OVA. They screened it last night at AUNSW. When Setsuna said his little prayer about 'protecting her from my animalistic intentions', the entire room either laughed or winced. I think I did both.

Yes Katan has just become my personal fav. If you want Katan....READ BOOK 6! READ BOOK 6!

Anyhow Pen2, thought you might like to know the AUNSW AS screening missed a bit out of the second ep (it started half way through? :confused: ) and they cut of the end cliff hanger (which had Katan in it), though most people had left by then. I was also a little disappointed with the subs. Apart from getting the names spelled right, the translations were very.... dare I say, Americanized? I don't know maybe I'm just to picky......

I like Sara because she doesn't give up on her brother even when she thinks he doesn't love her. She loves him with her whole soul and I admire her for it.

I would have to say that Kira is by far my favorite character. He is by far the most devoted member I've seen so far.

No one has mentioned Katou yet? Katou is the best character in that series . . . well, the manga. He's horrid in the OVA, as is nearly everyone else actually.

I hate to admit it, but Katou sort of annoys me. He's kinda generic.
He's not an -awful- character, but he doesn't interest me. However, that's just my opinion.

And to Assyria: of course everyone loves Kira-sempai. LOOK AT HIM.

And to tekblade, it's Alexiel, and I had to look that up to double check :p Her name still confuses me sometimes. Anyway I'm not an Alexiel fan. She has too much of a "God" complex. All the hot guys in the series fall for her and she doesn't gave a #%@^. And going back to snowcherry's comments about Kira-sempai, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HER!

Opps fogot to mention Katou so I'm double posting ;)

Though his not one of my favs I didn't mind him. He makes for good comic relief :D He was one of those characters you thought was a jerk at first but there was a lot more to him.

Jibrille! So many people forget she was ever -not- Sara, and the real Jibrille was immensely cool (from what we hear of her at least; who knows, maybe behind everyone's backs she kicked puppies or something). I almost feel sorry for Sara, being so far from the ideal that everyone had of Jibrille.

Also, I have done a great injustice in forgetting to include Raziel. Now that I've finished the manga, he and Zaphkiel are my definite favorites. I could go on for pages about how much I adore them and exactly why, but I'll spare everyone XD

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Oh, and the ending: some people live, some people die. Some people appear to come back to life, or at least have their souls still floating around and being useful. We find out more about God and Adam Kadamon. There are cool Lucifer-pose-striking scenes. Sara lives. All in all, it's very showy and cool and dramatic.

Jibrille=Gabriel=Elemental Angel of water=Great Cherubim=Sara's soul.

While I've only read the first volume Viz translated, I've really taken a shine to Setsuna and Sara. Kira is also impossible to dislike. :)
