The OVA and the TV series aside, I know there are lots of threads about what novels are covered in what anime episodes but my question is about the manga.

"The Gray Which "books, which end the battle of heroes, the "Chronicles Of The Heroic Knight" which start with Spark trying to become a knight.

So Is there a manga version of the Shooting Star episodes in a manga I don't know of, or did they just skip that part completely in the manga?

The first novel "The Grey Witch" ended with the temporary defeat of Karla.

The second novel, "The Demon of Flame" (I was never sure if that title actually meant flame, or if it meant the kingdom Flaim). In either case, it involved Parn and Deedlit 2 years after the first book, who arrive in Flaim and help stop a potential war conflict when some tribe starts a few little conspiracies, and all of them relate to a demon, an efreeti IIRC, who is involved.

This story MAY have been made into a Manga, but I don't know for sure. I think it is.

Novels 3 and 4, to answer your question, are the "Demon Dragon of Fire Dragon Mountain" Parts 1 and 2 respectively. The TV series episodes 1-4 are novel 3, and 5-8 are Novel 4. To my knowledge, they skipped these novels translation into Manga format. But they may do it sometime.

Novel 5 dealt with a civil war in Moss, with the conflict in Valis, With Parn dealing with the call for him to become a King and fighting to keep the peace in Lodoss, and the beginning of his forming the Free Army with Prince Reona to Liberate Kanon.

Novel 6 and 7 are "Holy Knight of Lodoss" parts 1 and 2. They deal with the Spark part as well as the liberation of Kanon. Novels 3-5 seem to have been skipped in the manga for Chronicles.

Thank you, that answered alot. :)

You seem to know the most about RoLW Robotech Master, so do you know if can still buy the novels from anywhere. I know you can't get them in English but what about Japanese imports?

Since you are asking, I'm assuming you can read Japanese.

If that is the case, there is a Japanese Amazon.com. While I am not sure if they still have copies of the original 7 novels, I know that the more recent "Shin Lodoss" Novels are on there.

The URL for the Japanese site might still be on Kashue.com

Japanese URL's aren't that helpful as my browser doesn't like them :( But I'll give amazon a try. Thanks again :)

If anything, Robotech master should be promoted to admin of this forum. His/her (?) knowledge on ROLW is unparalleled so far. Any type of technical question is jumped on right away ;)

I am a he.

A number of male posters seem to use Female Anime character Avatars.

At one point in time I wanted to change it to Ashram, but I'm the sort of lazy guy who doesn't want to take the small amount of time to change it.

On another message board that is exactly like this one I have Eva 01 as an Avatar. Oh well.
