Who Do You Think Is the Bad Guy

OK, let's get this forum moving people.:D

Who do you think is the major bad guy? Naraku, Sesshoumaru, or Kikyo. Who do you think is the best bad guy?

I have to say Naraku since i think he is the source of all the trouble and he he the one that made all of the confusion between Kikyo and Inuyasha.

Well, first, I think Kikyo should just give up and go back to being completely dead. ^_^

I think Naraku is the main bad guy just 'cause he's so evil for the sake of being evil. Fluffy....

I don't think seisshoumaru realy hates inuyasha, after all he had the chance to kill inuyasha in his yokai form once, but did not. What makes him kind of evil is that he wants the tetsusaiga and even uses that human arm transplant to wield it and ofcourse as a demon he treats humans like annoying bugs.
Naraku is pure evil imo, he cowardly flees from battles, if he fights himself at all, his gifts carry poison, he uses shikon shards to make others dependant on him and even his own detachments dont like him.
Kikyo isn't evil, she works as healer in a village and helps the people. Her plans mainly seem to be to get back on naraku, once he has finished collecting the shards.

Naraku is one of the best villains of all time in my opinion though he seems boring at times because he's just 'evil...' his actions don't have any reasons behind it. He just likes being evil for the sake of being evil. From the Three, I really like Fluffy ( I can't spell his name....) out of the three he has 'good' reasons to hate Inu yasha.

1. he hates humans.
2. inu yasha got the sword from his dad when he's just a pathetic hanyou.
3. he wants to be powerful like his father.

for the other two, i've already mentioned why i dont really like naraku... kikyo has good reasons to hate inu yasha too... but even after she learned the truth, she still wants to kill him anyway. Maybe its the fact that she's just a fragment of herself, but her reasons are a bit lame and shallow... if she realy loves him, she's willing to forgive and forget.... i think...

I've always had the feeling that Sesshoumaru is the real bad guy. But, his "adoption" of Rin did shed a little doubt on that.

I don't think Kikyo's being given enough credit. She's unreasonably insane. She's just as evil as Naraku. She exists for only one purpose, revenge. I like Kikyo, and I like the love triagle, heh heh.

Oh and where'd this fluffy nickname come from?

At first, I thought Sesshoumaru would be the main villian, but now I have to say it's Naraku, because everyone (Inu-Yasha, Kikyo, Sango, Miroku, and Kagome) were used, abused, and just generally screwed over by him. I don't really care much for Naraku, though, he's a pretty unineresting villian. Being evil for evil's sake makes a pretty lame villian. I much prefer Kikyo (she's just so...crazy :sweatdrop: )

Ok, so who do you guys think is the stronest. Personally, I say Kikyo but I don't know. That giant spirit incident(trying to avoid spoilers) kind of shed doubt on that. Still, look how bad Kagome hurt Naraku and she's only begining to realize the kind of power that Kikyo has passed down to her.

Sorry if I get some of this wrong, it's been a while since I read/watched it.
I don't think Naraku is just evil with no reason for being so... Since Naraku is Onigumo plus other demons he can't get rid of Onigumo's love for Kikyo, which is why he tries to kill her, and, well, as for Inuyasha and all the others, maybe he's just a bitter coot and he feels like killing them all. Oyah, I think he wants the shikon no tama so he can become a full youkai, because he's only half, so he's needs to kill the others to get it.
Not that I'm defending him....
Sesshoumaru has problems *dodges stones, rotten eggs and vegetables* I wonder how Takahashi is going to take care of him in the end...
As for who's strongest, who can tell? Naraku can make all those other demons, but he can't seem to kill Kikyo, and have we ever had a Kikyou vs Sesshoumaru or Sesshoumaru vs Naraku match? Kind of hard to tell...
Personally I'm getting a lil tired of Kikyo... she needs to bug off. But then there wouldn't really be a problem between Inuyasha and Kagome, except for Naraku and Sessh...

There's no doubt that Naraku is the 'evilest' character in the series, with no regard at all for human life. This guy hires out demons to wreck people's lives for fun, then chews up the human remains and spits it out. Plus, he wants to rule the world.
I'm not too sure about Sesshomaru, I mean Fluffy, though. I don't actually recall him killing too many people, and the fact he spared Inuyasha's life on a few occasions is evidence that he is capable of kindness.
The same goes for Kikyo-I'm not quite sure why she is so obssessed with hating Kagome, maybe she's a bit crazy. But apart from that, she likes nothing more than to help people. Having said that, she also likes to suck up dead people's souls too-although she has to in order to live on.
What about Inuyasha though? Isn't he evil too? After all he has been known to destroy humans in some episodes, and he wants the Shikon no tama to turn into a full youkai.....in some ways he's even more evil than Fluffy or Kikyo.....

Kikyou isn't evil, just slightly psychotic IMO. I'd have to agree I wish she'd just go stay dead. O.o; I know alot of Kikyou fans probably are annoyed I can say that, but she is stealing souls to stay alive. That isn't exactly the nicest thing to do.

Naraku is definitely one bad ---, mainly because he doesn't believe in a 'fair fight' or honor. He seems to give no care as to how he wins as long as he does so. Sesshomaru in retrospect seems to definitely possess what Naraku doesn't, honor and dignity. Yes he hates humans, but hey... so do I sometimes. Though I can't exactly compare, you have to understand he hasn't sunk to the 'low of low' like certain people (Naraku). Not to mention I have to agree with what was said before, ever since Rin has made her appearance, he seems to have tempered down quite a bit. Maybe seeing a new and interesting side of humans has helped him develop some compassion? We shall see.

Just because Seshoumaru isn't pure evil, I don't see how that rules him out from being the ultimate main villain. It just makes him a more rounded character.

As for Kikyou, I think she is evil. She's just driven to kill people without any care. And I don't think she should be ruled out as the main villain because she is so close to Inuyasha. I could easily imagine a last battle between Inuyasha's "old" love and Kagome and the guys.

I think that Naraku is actually the more long-term enemy/bad guy/whatever. I think that, if a few things happen to good ol' Fluffy, he might end up more joining our heros than fighting against them. Or maybe he could just maintain his status as a third party, and just do whatever suits him. As for Kikyo, well ... she's a sucky villain. I mean, after all, she was made to be intentionally good. It really wouldn't fit for her to be running around for an incredibly long time, so I hypothosize that she'll go out with a bang; pulling on Inu Yasha's heartstrings and with a major plot twist. Or I would think that she somehow makes peace with Kagome and they end up on the same side, since they're both caretakers for the Shikon no Tama and it would be strange to have a Takahashi story without a love triangle or two. ^^

Plus, all 'zat combined with Naraku actually being born of evil, etc. etc., it really only seems to fit that he's the real bad guy.

I disagree. I think Naraku's just a flat guy there to help the other main guys, bad and good, get their act together.
