I was just looking through the old posts and it was mentioned that Etoh was a guy

now that just cracked me up cos i could never tell and i thought he was a girl, judging by the way 'he' acted

anyways..i just found that hliarous

Indeed, and not only is it minor, but Etoh marries a Princess for heavens sake. And he becomes King of Valis.

Not to mention that if you've seen the TV series, you know that in his Kingly manner he's slightly more masculine and his voice is a bit deeper.

He was also one of the few priests at that time who was strong enough to actually prevent Kardis' spirit essence (which is the damn essence of death and destruction itself) from killing the remaining armies of the alliance.

I have to admit it took me a little while to figure out he was a guy, and first time I saw the OVA I got totally confused by his character. It could've been way worse though.

If anyone has watched Cowboy Bebop, the episode "Heavy Metal Queen" is the worse example I can think of. That's the one time I truly dropped my jaw when I found out of the the character was a woman!!!!!!!
