Who Is Stronger: Naraku Or Sesshomaru?

A tough question this one: Sesshomaru and Naraku have yet to lock horns (and we still don't know if Sesshomaru is good or bad yet), although I get the feeling that Naraku is afraid of Sesshomaru. Naraku would probably just shade it in a fight if he unleashes his full power, but any slip ups and Sesshomaru would rip him apart. Naraku is certainly more devious, and would probably set a trap, rather than engage in direct combat. Can't wait for the episode when they finally do battle (assuming they do meet in combat).

Very tough indeed. Fluffy IS strong in terms of strength and magic though Naraku is very smart, witty and 'cheats.' They both have their strengths... suppose the two fight in combat, Fluffy will win no doubt... but it seems Fluffy can't be very smart sometimes, though he IS devious and he is as manipulative as Naraku, Naraku wins the witty game.

If there was a battle, I suppose Naraku would win just for the sake of being evil. Fluffy's showing a 'sincere' side soooOoo.... he might not be as evil as we might think.

If it came down to a battle between them, I think Naraku would probably get all his detachments (the ones left alive, that is) to gang up on Fluffy. ::shrug:: Naraku would probably win then. I like Fluffy better out of the two, though.

Hmmm....I don't think that Naraku will never actually be infront of Fluffy but just one of his clones....I have to admit that I think that Naraku is stonger than Fluffy:( Although i like Fluffy much much more. :D

In combat - Sesshomaru would win.
However Naraku would never allow that to happen, as others have said - he is too devious.
Tough call, I'd say stalemate, for the purposes of continuing the series. :lol:

I'd say Sesshoumaru is by far stronger. Naraku is afraid to fight Inuyasha alone and Sesshoumaru beat the living crap out of Inuyasha without breaking a sweat even when he was in his insane demon form. Also, Naraku isn't smarter than Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru. He just thinks that way and they don't Sesshoumaru could easily come up with some kind of scheme but he would rather depend on his strength. He sees that as weak. It's just like the Ranma Ryouga thing. Ryouga could come up with lots of plans and stuff, and when in a pinch he does, but in normal battle he'd rather just use his hard earned strength to beat the hell out of someone.

Sesshoumaru would most likely win, even though Naraku is witty and sorta scary in that respect. Sesshoumaru, seems to be intelligent enough, but at one point lets his anger and desire to destroy Inu Yasha get his better judgement, so as long as he can keep his feelings in their place entirely, than he could easily beat him. After all, Naraku isn't exactly a demon *cough*.

And on who I like better, since it seems to be going around, Fluffy takes my vote XD

Anyway, no one has seen Naraku in his most powerful form so who are we to judge who would win?

I think that if they do battle between each other, InuYasha will some how screw up the would be best battle ever aired and show his smug during the fight and Naraku will run away, leaving the two brothers on a field arguing with each other. And as always, Kagome will be chasing after and yelling at Inuyasha.

The question always returns and the answer's always the same. Fluff would beat the living bejesus out of Naraku. None of his detachments stand a chance against him, simply because they all lost to Hanyou dog-boy. Kagura fears fim to no end and even believes he can beat Naraku.
Naraku is a mere Hanyou, Fluff is a Youkai. Perhaps with the full power of the Shikon, perhaps then Naraku would stand a chance but until then..
Fluff does not lose his head and always stays calm, there is no way to tell if things are going his way or not. He rams his way through life because nothing (No trap, trick or obstical) can stop him. His only weakness would be that he is guided by some sense of honour. That said I doubt he would actually consider fighting a mere Hanyou like Naraku, who wasn't even born a Hanyou.
And Fluff never was evil, just extremely powerful. So powerful that he can make his own path. The only character more powerful than Fluff would be his daddy since it seems he is laying out Fluff's path.

But Inuyasha trashed the dragon-demon who killled his daddy! And I think Sesshoumaru is around or a bit more powerful as InuYasha after getting his demonblade.

Riight, and I supose dog-boy did that with his bare hands eh ? Even without the demonsword Fluff is the stronger or did we forget he cannot die by the kaze no kizu ?
Dog-boy doesn't stand a chance without his sword, and that sword has the combined power(Yoki) of his father, him and the power of the forging of the sword.
Besides power isn't always measured in (just) strength but also in wisdom and intelligence. And Fluff and Dog-boy's father has constructed a plan to unite his two childeren (or so it seems, and it seems he's going to succeed). If his father can guide Fluff and dog-boy's will from beyond the grave, I'd call that pretty powerfull. It's more than Naraku can do.

I've just watched episode 80 and Sesshoumaru is confronting Naraku in battle. It seems as if he's not having too much trouble, but Naraku is trying to trick him and I don't think that Fluffy got it...

I said 'damn' because the fight is not finished and I'm having trouble finding ep. 81...:mad:

I would definetly call Sesshoumaru evil. Not evil as in KILLKILLKILL, but evil as in don't care a crap about anybody and only obsessed with power.

A youkai loosing to a mere hanyou? That mere hanyou happens to be a lot more powerful than 90% of the youkai we've seen in the series. What are the creatures that he scytches through like there was no tomorrow again? :) Hanyou are commonly less powerful than youkai, but that is not a rule.

And Kaze no Kizu can easily kill him, he just got lucky since Tensaiga saved him and Inuyasha thought him dead. I don't think of their father as evil. He seemed to be somewhat nice from what we've heard. Inuyashas mother seemed like a nice person and I doubt Inuyasha was a result of a one night rape (he would hardly like his father or have received Tessaiga as heritage if that were true).

If anybody wishes to continue claiming that youkai are automatically beastly incarnations of evil, then I must say Shippo is the cutest incarnation of evil I've seen in a while (Succubi being a whole different story :D ). Likewise, the racoon guy Miroku was associated with didn't seem half bad, nor did a lot of other filler ep characters.

As I thought, Inu Yasha inrefered in the fight between Naraku and Sesshoumaru, but before that it looked like Sesshoumaru was losing (Naraku started sucking him...) though he (Fluffy) didn't look very nerveous... He also said that he used Naraku to frotect himself from Inu Yasha's Kaze no Kizu...
Anyway,
After Sesshoumaru released himself, both he and IY attacked Naraku. It ended up with Naraku, badly wounded, escaping...

Naraku definitely had the upper hand that clash of the titans, although it was tactical naevity when he surrounded Fluff with pieces of meat that protected Fluff from Inuyasha's Kaze No Kizu......trust Inuyasha to come and break up the fight, barging in like a caveman.
Naraku was sneaky as always, and Sessho was foolish to fall for his trick. When Fluffy's eyes turned red, he would have tore through Naraku....just as well that he fled with his tail between his legs. Probably hiding in a bush somewhere.
It would have been interesting to see if Sesshomaru would have escaped without Inuyasha's help.
At the present moment, Naraku still can't handle Sesshomaru using brute force-he has to rely on trickery...... next encounter should be something special.

How could anyone call Fluffy evil?? Anyone who tolerates a 6 year old girl and even loves her (well without admitting it anyway, but it's there) can't be too evil in my book. Even in the earlier episodes he seemed to want to protect her greatly.

Anyway, if Naraku didn't create any more kids (sometimes I think his need for offspring is worse than Miroku's) Fluffy would smear the floor with him, and still have time to go tuck Rin into bed before Inuyasha even got there. I think the two brothers will get along in the end and Sesshomaru will adopt Rin and everyone will be one happy bundle of kawaii-ness :kawaii: yeah....

Yeah sess probaly will win. Because at first we I saw narkura i through that he was all powerful, but I was wrong because kagomre was shooting him down with those arrows of her's. And I was shock and disppoint to at him.

Actually, the reason the new Super Naraku and Sesshomaru cross swords, so to speak, is because Sesshomaru was pursuing Naraku for some time. I'm actually not sure why he was so intent on finding and confronting Naraku, but in his pursuit of him he came across the Troop of Seven and inevitably helped InuYasha and the others by killing one of them. Then Naraku sent several of the other seven after Sess.
