I have the seen the rushes for Gasaraki and I must admit it has to be one of the slickest anime I have ever seen.
Yet the main reaction to Gasarki (well, here anyway) is confusion and annoyance. Thus I'm having my doubts about adding this anime to my collection. When someone says something is good and someone else says it's crap, then who are you supposed to believe?

Is Gasaraki really good as the critics claimed? Is it a minefield of confusion? Is it something more then an Eva clone (I guess comparisons with the mighty Eva are ineveitable)? Does Gasaraki exist to satisfy the mecha fans who felt cheated that Eva wasn't just mecha mayhem but more so a strong statement on the needs of acceptance?
I don't know. Can anyone help me out here?

To be honest Gasaraki is very boring. The problem I have with this anime is that there are lots of talking and whining and not enough action. Good sound track but that is the only thing it got going for it. If there where more action and less whining then it could have been a great anime. Not enough good supporting casts.

well there really isnt much mech action, only like 1 or 2 episodes. most of it is kinda like a mind game, dealing with mind issues, twists and plots and stuff. if you wanna watcha good story and plot, but not much action then i guess this is right up your alley. it gets confusin at some points but then it sort of clears up later :D
