Another movie coming out already? I haven't even seen the first one yet :o. Is Inu-Yasha more popular now than Ranma 1/2 was in Japan? That Takahashi keeps raking in the cash :D

Well. in a poll in a magazine of people from Japan (don't know how many people), Inuyasha came second as people's current favourite. Whether it will have the lasting power of Ranma remains to be seen, but yeah, it is currently in fashion (is it more popular than Ranma was....not sure).
As for the movie, it looks quite good, although the plot resembles one of the episodes in the series. I wish they would just release the damn thing either subbed or dubbed in English!

Ah! I haven't gotten around to seeing the first movie yet, but I'm glad they're coming out with a second anyways, more Inu Yasha! Wai!
I actually am not big on Ranma 1/2 personally, but I just saw a little, and the story and characters weren't as 'capturing' (can't think of a better word) as Inu Yasha's.

I like Ranma 1/2, but it's sort of a fixation with me. I like Yamaguchi Kappei's voice (Ranma, Inuyasha). I like Inuyasha more, but Ranma 1/2 was one of Takahashi's earlier works.

I don't have any money either, which is why I'm saving. Ranma's dub wasn't too bad, and I can only hope Inuyasha won't suffer a terrible fate like Megami Kohousei did. I'm probably not going to get Inuyasha until it's available as a boxed set. Viz is eeevil...taking a while to release series, and then only releasing about 2 eps per tape....

Yes, yes, the movies.
I guess anyone who has seen up to episode 94 knows Inu Yasha is coming to an end. I think the last movie will be the conclusion, "decided in one big final battle!"
I think that's what the second movie is about, or was that the third? o.O
Anyway from what I understood from the anouncement it's release is 12/21. I think that would have been 21 december, perhaps 2002?
Oh yes, the title: The castle behind the looking glass.
From the looks of it, the animation'll be the same as The love that trancendes time. Perhaps even better because of 'darker' animation, which usually means more detail ^_^.
*edit* Anyone know if any fansub house has a copy of this movie yet? Anyone know if any is planning on subbing it?
