ADV announces that they are going to start selling the Excel Saga. First 5 eps will be available on dvd on June 11th... I am kinda curious how it iwll seem dubbed, that must have been one tough job

The early buzz on the Excel dub is good. Sometimes, completely over the top is easier to do well than nuanced emotions ^_^

I am PSYCHED for this June when Excel Saga comes out, I've only seen the first ep. and I'm dying for more nutsoid craziness. ADV seems to be giving it their all too, you get a free ACROSS ID badge and everything! Personally, I'm already a member of several far more prestigious organizations devoted to taking over the world so I don't need it, but the rest of you should feel all special ^_^

It be a sin for me not to post in here. I've seen 1-22 and enjoyed ALL of it. Also, ES has HUGE rewatch value.

I just wonder how they are gonna do the dub when Excel goes to America...

ADV does not do good dubs. they have a terible cast, the voice of shinji and tiffany grant are the worst VA's ive heard. the only good dub theyve done (and not even using their own actors) is nadesico and arc the lad

i just saw the cover art for ES dvd 1...im sorry but it looks awful. mostly becuase of the english logo, english lettering in chinese letering-font looks...i dont know, i dont like it.

no im not saynig the show is bad becuase of the cover, the cover is just damn ugly! the HK dvd set that im getting of ES has a better cover

The cover ADV are using for Excel Saga is that guys (creator of the manga) own manga drawing.

Perfect video and audio quality, great extras and the biggest suprise of all they say excels dub actress does a good job! and the dub overall is good.

It's been 2 years in the making but Excel Saga is shaping up to be the best ADV release production and dub wise w00t!

The dub for Excel is Jessica Calvello (sp? that poor woman... keep butchering her name...) who is EXTREMELY talented and is a great person in general (she's at the cons!)... The dub, I hear, is in good hands, and as long as the guy doing Ilpalazzo's voice does a good job, I'll be fine. Ilpalazzo-sama... *sparkle~*

And Brett Weaver is Nabeshin. There is a God. XD I can't WAIT to hear him.

Btw TDM and Westlo (or anybody else for that matter), have you guys watched the whole series? Ep 23 has the saddest ending IMO.
