Hey, what was the purpose of the Kushinada being born as twins? hey never really discussed it much

well we find out later in the story from kaede that they were born twins because we know kaede wanted to clense mother earth, but then momiji wanted to protect earth so she said they were twins because kaede wanted to clense and start a new but momiji wanted to keep the earth safe with everyone else, the people who were supposed to be the ones ruining earth. in the end momiji was the one who was against kaede and her plans :D

It's been over a year since I've watched it, but I remember something about it being decided that it was safer to have two Kushinadas.

If im not mistaken the point of Kushinada being born into twins was to create a struggle between the two obligations of the princess. This struggle will be resolved because one kushinada shall care for the earth while the other shall care for susano therefore bringing an era of harmony between humanity and the aragami.

Ummmmm.... There is a chance that we are over-analyzing. Twins are generally a random chance phenomena.

hrmm well thats true, but besides the phenomena, there was also a reason that kaede says why she understands they were twins

Not sure. Acctually, neither Kaede or Kusanagi(who brings up the subject in the end) tell WHY they were born as twins, just that they know why they were. *shrugs* Analyze it all you want, but I unless it's said in the series, it may not be what the reason really is.......

Perhaps it was simply to make the plot more interesting. It wouldn't be as fun with only one.

True, true, very true. Perhaps if I could read japanese I could find out by acctually READING the Blue Seed mangas that I own. But since I can't read it, i won't know.... * wishs she knew how to read japanese *

Speaking of not being able to read or understand japanese, does any one here own a copy of Blue Seed2? I don't care if I can't understand them, i know where to find transcripts of what they say. So does any one?

In the end Kaeda hinted that her purpose was to be a keeper for Susanoh until needed again.

But, I think this may have been because she was embarrased at getting the whole point of the Kushinada wrong and just wanted to literally crawl under a rock from embarrassment.:lol:
