I made this thread so that ppl that aren't looking in the hellsing thread (because of spoilers) know when Hellsings coming out.

Heres a link of Pioneers site

The first volume is being released 7/23/02 and for an anime that ended december 2001 that is damn fast. Good job Pioneer you gusy are quick. Oh yeah you can but a box with volume 1 for an extra $5.

For Hellsing vets it seems they are going with Arucard over Alucard and what do you think of the cover image for volume one, pretty nice i mut say.

Yes its supposed to be alucard. They pronounced it as arucard in the anime coz thats how the japanese pronounce alucard. :p

Why go with Arucard, when they either reveal him as Dracula or one of his direct decendant?

I didn't spoil anything, since I am not sure of it myself, though the chance of it isn't slim.

well if you guys have played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Alucard is Dracula's son, of course, that can be different than the alucard in hellsing.

After all I've heard about this series, I'm very interested in watching it.

Anyone else grinning about their choice to offer a box right off the bat? Anyone else think every series should get that option from the start?

 for Pioneer.

I think they should have kept his name as Alucard, because, in epp 13:

SPOILER!

After Alucard seriously harms Incognito, Incognito says: "who are you" (or something). Then a shadow covers 1/2 of Alucards face and his other half turns into *drumroll* Vlad Tepes (or Vlad the Impailer) onto which the Dracula story is based upon.

But yea, sweet cover!
