Only 1-4? Nothing good yet.
Comming to R1? Not any time soon.
Keep watchin. Enjoy.
haha ! :) ... wait till you get to the last 6 episodes... things will get really sweet, also the action sequences in there are more detailed and enjoyable then in the first part of the series.

You definitely haven't seen the best of the series yet. Personally, I found that the first few episodes plodded along a bit, but it definitely starts to get better around ep 8 or 9.
Keep watching. :D

Well of course she is. :)

Comming to the US? Well actually it might be. ADV annouced that they had bought the rights to it, but then retracted the statement soon after. However that might have been due to certain contract agreements between them and the owners of Noir, as there is some evidence to suggest they do hold the US rights to it. Not the least of which is that there was a big picture of the girls on the front of their recent catalogue. ;)
But then again, it could all be scotch mist, so don't go dumping your fansubs yet.

If they give her any other voice than the kind and sensitive voice of Shinobu in the Love Hina dub for their dub, I will run them through with my broadsword. :kawaii:

Not bloody likely, because Kuwashima Houko's Kirika-Chan is just too cute to be healthy!! :kawaii:

But you musn't forget the greatness of Mitsuishi Kotono! :D

True, but her performance is nowhere as outstanding as Kuwashima Houko's subtle yet heartbreakingly emotional and adorable performance. :kawaii:

The watch song is "Melodie" or "Melody."
I'm not too sure about the techno...maybe it's Melody, Salva nos Remix.

Episode 14...A Bouquet for Mireille. That was one nice episode. :) I love the fact that her growing bond with Kirika was symbolized in the fact that she chose Kirika over her own Uncle. :)
Melodie would have to be the song in the watch.

Very likely. Kuwashima Houko has stated that there is a Noir sequel in the works.

.................a sequel to Noir?.... a prequel would be more fitting I think.....besides not much to continue from.... except Kirika and Mireille running away and hiding from Soldats..and that's not much of a story....but i wouldn't know... a prequel sounds better.... plus there's...close your eyes children ...ummmm...nevermind ...episode 25..u know... i'll say no more...

Ok , I saw the whole serie and I think there are some lacking stuffu , and I'll be more than happy if the sequel is for real .
Let's face it , they are not dead , the episode's title states "Birth" , I think the aforementionned birth is about the birth of Noir and not their deaths , it would be easy , cheezy and -crappy .
I am not with the ppl who says that the serie sucks , the ones who does so didn't watch it more carefully .
I am not one of the people who will blindly praise the serie .
I could write more constructive criticism if my english was not so poor .
I think this serie leaves us with a lot of unanswered questions like :
- Who are the Kirika's true parents and what happened to them ?
What I would want for a sequel ?
- It will be nice if there are a character like a DGSE agent (read a spy) who can provide the informations Mireille and Kirika would need .
- Support characters who don't die ( yeah , I was so sad that Milosh died ) .
- More realistic fight scenes , and just make Mireille or Kirika use other weapon than their faithful handguns . Like poisons or knife .
I am done with this post , I still think that Noir is a great serie but it needs to capitalize a bit more on its potential .
The first episodes have this Luc Besson feeling ( The "Leon the Professional" and "Nikita" director) with a bit of Kitano ( when Kirika killed off the soldiers with the assault rifle and keeps her straw hat on ) .
I noticed how Kirika sounds like Nikita .
Perhaps it is just me .
bottom line : My favorite ep is the 13th , the one with the painter .

I doubt Kirika-Chan would be so low as to use a cowardly instrument as poison. She is a warrior, not a vagabond. ;)

....Let's face it , they are not dead , the episode's title states "Birth" , I think the aforementionned birth is about the birth of Noir and not their deaths , it would be easy , cheezy and -crappy .........???? huh???? ..... i don't get what you mean...
ohh as for using different weapons.... usually an assassin will kill you with their favorite weapon to show respect.... they're not serial killers.... unless the situation calls for otherwise.... and plus i think Kirika and Mireille would like to travel light.. an automatic tends to stickout sometimes.. as for knives...well....maybe Kirika doesn't prefer to use a knife... and poison...???... hmm.... maybe buying poison can be traced back to them.. and maybe it's not their style...
uuuummm.. as for Kirika's parents... i guess that wasn't needed for the storyline right now... besides what would Kirika need her parents for?... she seems to have never been concerned about her parents that much... anyways i've typed too much already.. so.. yeah... Chloe rocks!!Oh yeah!!
