Veronica Taylor has previously played Ash Ketchum and his mother from Pokemon, as well as Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun from Slayers.

Jessica Calvello has voiced a number of characters, ranging from work in Dirty Pair and Cutey Honey to Mink in Dragon Half.

Megan Hollingshead plays Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny from Pokemon.

Rachael Lillis plays Misty and Jessie from Pokemon, and also voiced Utena and Chu-Chu from Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Pete Zarustica previously portrayed Wagnard throughout most of Record of Lodoss War: : Chronicles of the Heroic Knight.

Carol Jacobanis voiced Nurse Harumi from Captain Tylor.

Angora Deb's list of credits include work for Maze and Agent Aika.

Lisa Ortiz is the voice of Lina Inverse of Slayers, Emi and Yumi of Captain Tylor, and Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War.

Ed Paul worked as Lt. Katori from Captain Tylor, and also did work in Pokemon the Movie 3.




Some of the VA's I don't really have an issue with. While I usually seen as a "die hard" japanese dialogue person, I'm actually interested to see how well the English VA's compare to the Orginals.

I really dun like VAs at all .... I should listen to a recent one to help me to judge again because old series are acted mostly by bad voice actor who didnt find any bettre jobs and miss all the right emoition in their voice :: thinks about awful blue seed ><°;; ::

I didn't do much over the weekend since I was babysitting for Stephanie from DBZ but I managed to talked to Veronica Taylor for a short while throughout the weekend.

According to Veronica herself, she was a bit surprised that I mentioned Kare Kano and her character Yukino, since she was here promoting herself and coughs Pokemon coughs. She was ecstatic that she praised a character with vitality rather then the usual innocent Japanese schoolgirl. Above all, its in production from what I remembered (or I just somehow short circuited from deprivation of coffee in my system and lack of sleep throughout the long weekend) and she need our (fans basically shrugs) honest opinion on how her voice trendscends through Yukino.

Though I'll have to reserve a copy of Kare Kano from the US once its out on DVD that is. :heh:

Better to be safe then sorry...can't ditch the original Yukino always.
