Two words...
PLAY ONE!
I get alot of "Xbox sux" mentality, even from some of my friends. They then come over, spend all night playing it...
Their attitudes change very quickly.

Of course, its not the greatest system ever. I bought it for Munch's Oddysee (BIG let down) and JSRF (I loved it, but it still wasn't what I expected.). Halo was an unexpected surprise and is my fave X Box game. A few more months, Halo goes online! Can't wait to go frag some newbs now that I'm practicing Legendary!
Anywho, Neojin said it best, the only way to see if you like it is to play one...

SO Halo is good should i get it for XBOX or PC if it is coming out on pc , cause much easier to play with mouse and keyboard then controller

Now now, I heard the Halo for Xbox handles pretty well; don't know until you've tried. I've yet to see a review under 90%.

But then neither is the PS2 or the GC.
The games, however, are ------- fantastic.

Hmm... the controls on Halo have become second nature to me. I don't really have to think to aim now. I look at something and my target is there. Once you get the hang of the 2 control stick movement, its no sweat.

Exactly what I was thinking, its just one of those majority things. A lot of people just go out and buy whatever is popular at the time, or gets the best ratings ya' know you just have to give it a try.

What? It's a system, the X-box as a system has better specs than the other next-gens, but the whole issue is the games that get played on them. Trust me, I had a PS2 without any games for a few months and it got old fast.
Consoles suck. The game is the boss. The X-box has a few good games, but a lot of them are being ported to other systems, and vice versa. La de da.

Ive been thinking day, and nigth about getting one, and ive been a gamer ever since I could walk im just wondering how the hell im ever gonna grow acustom to that bulky ass controller, ahh I guess it shouldnt be too hard considering I played the hell out of my N64, but so far the only game ive seen, and liked is Halo.

well I dunno about overseas but now in Australia there's a deal at EBWorld where for $399 you get an XBox, Halo, DVD Remote and a DVD Movie of your choice.
That's a pretty damn good deal, if you subtract all those extra's it makes the Xbox itself around $200ish. I'm not sure how long this promotion is going for.

Guys I just read something disturbing..Xbox is about to mass produce a new chip so they can lower the price of the console, hope you Xbox fans dont suffer the loss of graphics, and gameplay.
