Here's something interesting, the European(French) release of End of Eva/Death and Rebirth.
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005Y4IX/402-9718294-9753702
Not only is it a 2 disc set instead of being released seperately, but its also apparantly out already from the date there.
Anyone care to explain if this is correct or not? :p Or maybe Manga really does want to screw Americans as much as possible... -_-
It is only subs, with no dubs. That si why it is out.
Europe is smart ^^ they dont care for american voice overs.

Huh.
I'm suprised that they haven't done that in America. That way we would have to buy 2 lots

Hmm..., looks like Manga Video didn't have the rights to release EoE in France..., correct me if I'm wrong.., but it looks like it's being distributed by Fox Pathe Europa there...,

 Man have you ever seen some of their movies? They have some crazy stuff over there that doesn't make a world of sense...I'd think EOE would be just right up their ally.

Well, the bright side… You can still get Nazi memorbila in the States which has been banned in Europe…
:dot: Okay very dim bright side… Oh hell forget it…
Manga is just like Anno… Just keep on ------- with us as long as possible untill we throw Moiltov cocktails through their windows…
Hey… it worked with Cardcaptors in keeping the name Sakura… :heh:

Must get . . . then again it would have french subs and i cant read french . .
Is this for sure that these DVD-s don't have English subtitles? Can anyone who can read French confirm that?
If they have, those DVD-s are on the top of my must-buy list.

well french is french, you can get anything and everything in russian (literaly)
From the description it looks like it does indeed have English dubs. However, it's also Region 2 encoded, so you'll need a Region 2 or Regionless DVD player to watch it.
