Whatever happened to Wing 1?

I know it was hit by the beam cannon in Ep 49 and severely damaged BUT it was never really destroyed so it could have been repaired right? I mean that at the end of Endless Waltz the other gundams are destroyed but not Wing 1, what are everyones thoughts on this? Is there still a Gundam out there?

i don;t think so when 01 was blasted by libra's cannon, i think it was pretty much fryed to the point that there would be not point in rebiulding it. Also at the end of endless waltz the narrorator guy did say that there were no more gundams so... i guess there aren't...

Aw I don't know it lost its arms and legs but Lady Une came out of it without even a scratch so the inner circuitry must have survived. It was a Gundam, guess it was left to rot like all the space aries. Good idea for a fanfic though, too bad im too lazy to write it :P

The Wing Gundam was completely destroyed. It's quite obvious. The arms were missing, the only leg it had only went to the knee, the head was practically falling off ... it would be easier to build a new one from scratch.
