Hie, it's just to ask this question.
I've heard about a rumor for a 2nd saison, and i'd like to know if it's true or false.
Thanks ! ^^

I don't think there will be a 2nd season, the season had a good complete ending.Chloe's dead,Grand Retour has failed and our heroic duo has quit the assassin business.

However, many people do feel there will be another "Noir," so to speak. Check the posts, there's a discussion of what they could do, if in fact they do anything.

I heard that Kuwashima Houko stated in the Noir artbook "Les Duex Vierges" that they are already planning to make a Noir sequel in the future.

Go to the Unofficial Noir forums if you want indepth news on things like this.

Hopefully with new characters: Poor Kirika-Chan has suffered enough already. :bawling:

Hopefully the sequel will be led by an easy going, well humoured young swordswoman (armed with a Katana or Claymore) whose skill are more than a match for even a SWAT team. :kawaii: A contrast (though still lovable) to Kirika-Chan. :kawaii:

mmmmmmmkey... I would like the same characters (exept for the ones that are dead), and no funny stuff. After all, if the cast is different, the style, the atmosphere... why should we call it a Noir sequel at all ? I love Noir just as it is ! No silly humor, we have n+1 series covering that field :p

Not quite different style, just different cast.

The style shall remain constant, as shall the world. After all, Kirika-Chan and Mirelle are far from the only assasins on the world that they inhabit, and no doubt their counterparts also have hopes, dreams, and hearts to be explored.

I'm not saying that they should make Noir happy or humorous, far from it. Its just that we have already seen the world from two pairs of sad, angsty and pragmatic eyes.

Lets now see it from a positive (though not idealistic) and adventurous pair. ;) The owner of which weilds whirling bladed death. ;)

I would still like to see Kirika and Mirelle in the sequel, if there is one. As they are Noir!

I think it would be cool to see a medieval Noir pair.

I'm still not sure wether more Noir is a good idea, but I would love more.

Yeah it would be alright to see the Noir of previous times. But having a Noir set around 2009 would be odd to watch, as Kirika and Mirelle are Noir. (Like I said earlier)
