Who else here is a big Rally fan? I'm just rounding the boards today. ^_^;;;;

I ADORE Rally. She's one of my first heros in anime. I could easily cosplay as her "Riding Bean" self. That and any woman who can use guns and understand them -- and her car -- is just a goddess in my eyes. hehe. *gush* ^_^;;;;

Yes, Rally is a goddess, and we all like her very much, but I still think the cuter character there is Mei. She can be a real child sometimes while the next second making things that would make Satan blush, and the voice they put her, is just great. I love to hear her in Do it Minnie Mei.
But, I would like a more Rally-type girl by my side.

Rally and her CZ-75 and Shelby Cobra Mustang, blah. The CZ-75 was a good gun with a lot of clones, but the SIG-Sauer P-210 is my favorite gun. As for a bi-sexual Rally, just cause she likes guns and cars doesn't make her gay, well then again she does like womens. She's questionable.

Carrying a gun and driving fast car does not me she is bi-sexual. In fact I know a lot of ladies that carry guns and drive fast car that are not bi-sexual. My favorite handgun is the Glock 19. I love my combat tupperware. Glock owns over 60% of USA law enforcement market. It must be doing something right.

Lucky bastard… In my area of the States we aren't even allowed to have handguns… :bawling:

Fred

What state is that? The USA? You are able to have handguns or other arms. The Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States protect that right.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. "

If your area ban handguns or other firearms take them to court! Call on the GOA (http://www.gunowners.org/) orNRA (http://mynra.com/). Sue their ass off!!!

I guess you are from DC. It has the highest murder rate in the nation. The only people that are allowed to have handgun are the criminals and the police is no help at all. Overwork and underpaid.

Do not let Gun Grabbing Liberals SOB take your God given rights away! Liberals are cowards. They fear everything!

Also you might want to check out The Firing Line (http://thefiringline.com/) or Glocktalk.com (http://glocktalk.com/) if you are a firearm enthusiasts.

? But your super conservitive Christian ways freak me out man… I wanna own a gun… But under that?

Better to live on my knees…-Does Canada have any major gun laws? :heh:

Fred
05-05-02, 10:13 PM
Don't get me started with Canada. They have stricter gun control laws then the USA. If it keeps up, Canada will be like the UK. It is not the left that will give you freedom buddy it is the right! Switch to the right! Freedom is not free, you have to fight for it.

Anyway we won't bite. We have better manners then our cousin up north. Crime is low and the air is clean how good can it get? I hope you change your mind.

You should get yourself a rifle like an AK-47 or AK-74 or SKS or Rem 700 or FAL or AR-15, etc. I enjoy shooting rifle then handguns.

Can I get an AUG?

Fred
08-05-02, 02:48 AM
Yes you can, it is being imported. They runs around $1500 new. You like the STEYR AUG?

We convinced Bog, a Citizen of the UK Police State to come over to the South! He had enough of the dictatorship over their in the UK. So he is coming to the USA to become an US Citizen! If he can do it so can you! Join the South! Think about it! Believe it or not the South is very diverse. We have Asian, Blacks, Hispanics, Whites, and so on shooting at our ranges.

I hope you mean they are at the shooting range, and not on it…

What about the MP5?

Fred
09-05-02, 09:49 PM
MP5 yes they sell them but they cost around $5000. Very limit supply.

You be very surprise that there are a lot of minority going to the gun range and own guns themselves.

AchtungAffen

What about the G36, never saw one of them live.

Fred
10-05-02, 06:11 PM
The HK SL8-1 (around $1600 new) is the official HK 36 for the civilian market. I do no think there is a clone for the HK G36 out by other manufacture because the HK G36 patent has not ran out.

I don’t like HK products that much personally. I think they are overprice and over engineer. The MP5 is all but dead in most LEA and SpecOP. Submachine gun in general are dead.

HK own very little of USA LEA and military market. The handgun market is own by Glock (60% of civilian and LEA), Sig (25% of civilian and LEA, most specops use sig as their sidearms), and Beretta (they are the official sidearms of the US military).

The civilian and military market for assault rifles are own by AK and AR (I have both in my collection). If you go to a gun board sooner are latter there will flame wars between AK and AR groups.

High precision rifles (“snipers rifles”) are own by Remington. The US scout/snipers use Remington 700 and so do SWAT teams (I own one too).

The only reason why so many people are talking about HK is because computer games and movies promotes their firearms.

Yeah, in OFP, the special ops use muffled HK's, and the snipers use M21. Now, what is that XMZ 7...? (I don't remember the entire number.). What about that Dragunov rifle? is it better?

Fred
10-05-02, 11:33 PM
Actually most special forces use Sig and Beretta. Handguns is a last defense weapon and really don’t play an important roll in combat.

The M21 has been phased out by the army but it still has some use in spec-ops groups. It is replaced by the M24 SWS (Rem 700). The M21 is essentially a modified M14 National Match rifle. The XM21 is an earlier version of it using walnut stock. The current M21 use composite of Kevlar, graphite and fiberglass stock, which prevent the stock from warping (wood warp under humidity which affect accuracy.)

The USMC has phased out the M40A1 (Rem 700) and is replace by an improve version of it called M40A3 (Rem 700).

Most US LEO sniper use the Remington 700P or/and 700LTR.

Springfield Armory produce great M14/M1/M21 rifles (the same rifle just different names  ). They cost between $1500-2500.

Could you buy me one freddy? :D

Fred

You need to stop buying anime and save up for a nice rifle!
I already got a M1A in my collection so no need to get another one.

What I am aiming for is a Tubb-2000 or SR-25 both in .308 to add to my collection.

If luck then, then she was extremely lucky. At that range she won’t be able to see the hand even with optics. She was shooting standing with no support at all on top a skyscraper. Shooting offhand (standing up) is not the best way to shoot accurately. The cross wind alone will kill the trajectory of the bullet not to mention if she zero her scope at that range.

Anyway if you like sniping get this really great book: The Ultimate Sniper (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0873647041/qid=1021941187/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-6072700-4895859). It teaches the trade and misconception of snipers. It help me a lot on my long range shooting.

the WA2000 is an awesome rifle. :D

I love spending the day at the local range and firing multiple rounds off every .5 seconds, it just sooths the body.. and if only rally was there to "train" me. ;)

A couple of posts up I noticed Fred posted some links to Steyr AUG pics. They didn't come up so I've posted some here.

F-88 Austeyr field stripped into basic compenents

http://www.adi-limited.com/images/PH4B.jpg
F-88 Austeyr assembled

In Australia the Steyr AUG is manufactured under license from Steyr Mannlicher (in Austria) by ADI Limited. It has been designated the F-88 Austeyr. It is produced for use by the Australian Defence Force and I have also noticed it used occaisonally by Queensland Police S.E.R.T offficers and in equivilant police units in other states. Variants to the F-88 include the F-88 S (see 3rd para) and the F-88 C (Carbine)

During my time in Army cadets I had the priviledge of being instucted on the weapon and also doing two live range shoots. In my opinion it is a good weapon which is light weight and easy to handle and operate.

I have been told that all of the Army's (and I'd assume the Navy and the Airforce) F-88s are to be fitted with the Picatinny Rail( the F-88s with these rails are desiganted F-88 S), which is a sight rail that is able accept different types of sights and to allow better compatibility with the NINOX night sight system (a really nifty Gen-III night sight system). The F-88 can also be fitted with a 40mm Grenade Launcher.

I just thought I'd post all of this because I find firearms an interesting topic.

It seems the guy took his AUG out of the website. I did save one of those pics.
