Anyone else think this was inspired by a Hollywood musical of the 40s or 50s?

It's bright and colorful, choreographed well, and people pop out of nowhere singing! Course it's been awhile since I've seen the opening credits so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

hmm i dont remember anyone poppin out and singing, but just screens of them doing their things and at the end everyone passed by and all

btw, whats the title of the song during the ending credits??? i really like it a lot.

Ending credits is "Yume no nake e" - its a very old song which dated back around 1975.

I don't think I have seen anyone popping out or singing during the opening from what I remembered. I'd have to agree with the flying, it has that light hearted feeling to the theme, "Tenshi no Yubikiri".

Anyone with a musical instrument can play the opening and ending credits of Kare Kano, raise your hands?

:wavey: And I'd like to thank my years of music in high school for showing me how to read notes and play the tune. Not to mention have Tenshi No Yubikiri as your tone on your mobile/cellular phone.
