Was there a moment in Berserk where you laughed? Even a little bit...?... thought there was a scene that was funny whether or not it was intended to be that way? I remember one scene, I think it was one of the early episodes, where Gatts was showering and Griffith showed up, also nude and seemed very open about it. My first impression of Griffith was "WTF?!?!? He's gay or bi?" Then there was Gatts expression... I chuckled a little bit. Also, at first glance, I thought Griffith was a girl for some reason but that all changed after I heard his voice.
For a very serious series, I thought it had it's moment(s), even if it's a little. Maybe someday, I'll rewatch the series... again and look at it from a comical point of view... or maybe not...
Somehow laugh and Berserk don't quite work in the same sentence. I am thinking really hard as to wether there were any funny bits in the show........ wait, I got one. Adon!!!! He managed to get a chuckle out of me a few times. I specificly remember when he was in that castle lecturing his troops. He asked them if they knew why this castle was important and they all yelled back "NO!" I thought that was funny.

That blonde guy who didnt' seem to die...he seemed to be the only person in the entire series that had a silly/idiotic personality. The eps with him in it brought a few chuckles.

Adon was more annoying than funny. I think the show could have done without him.It really didn't need comic relief at all. And if it did, there are better ways to acheive it.

Besides the obvious comic relief of Adon and some of the antics of the Rickert & Pippin Show, I do remember some moments when I laughed, but not at any direct humor. Times such as when Gatts and Caska clash verbally when you know they have feelings for the other inside. Some of the scenes involving Godo when Gatts returns to get his sword reworked. Laughter (more like a chuckle) mostly because I could feel and identify with the awkardness the characters felt.

well i never seen the anime but in the manga when gatts had them lil quarles with the fairy, forgot his name :heh: and yeah the lil fights with caska and gatts
Yeah, some chuckles here and there... Not just Caska arguing with Gutts but also Griffith trying to set them up. Some of Gutt's facial expressions are pretty silly too.

The first episode when Gatts shoots arrows in the snake barons head and he yells in pain with each shot, hilarious without a doubt the funniest scene.

The time when Gatts and Griffith were fighting when they were young, and Griffith managed to balance on Gatts' sword.
The short egg-head who plotted against Griffith never fails to cause laughter either.

The opening has actually made me laugh once or twice. The upbeat music combined with those shots of Gatts standing with his sword, it almost looks like he's posing... so very out of character for Gatts.
i really, really cheered when that annoying "all talk" generalish guy got killed. Probably because I really, really dislike comic relieves/sidekicks...
the short egghead scared the ---- out of me...he had the small evil pupils
Personally, I burst out laughing when Gatts saw Caska in a dress.
His expression was funny, sure, but utterly hilarious was that, rather than the standard response of a slap or even a punch to the face, she gives him an entire elbow to the face.
Funniest thing I've ever seen.
Adon is probably the only directly comical character in the anime, while the manga is much fuller of such thingies. There's actually more Adon in anime than manga, which is a rather cheap trick for me. I like his 'xxx year old family techniques' thou. Well, in manga Puck's definitely a laughter. (btw, those that didn't yet should really read manga)

I think it was episode three when Pippin pushes Gatsu into the lake, and then Rickert pushes pippin into the lake that I found really really funny. I remember laughing aloud at that part. But other than that... nope, I can't recall any other time that I laughed.
And Adon was really really annoying.

As much as the manga's darker, it's also lighter.
there's one scene in the anime where corkus orders the main force of the hawks to charge. In the manga, he botches the command up and tries to call everyoen back for a do-over

One funny moment that comes to mind is the seen after the first battle in the series at the party, when Guts is secluding himself and Pippin drags him down to the party
Guts: "Who the hell do you think you are?!"
Pippin: (In that funny ogerishly deep voice of his) "Piipiiiin"
