View Full Version : Dub?
I have not seen this anime, nor bear any information on it. There are Dub right? And also, how many episodes are there?
I'm also curious as to the answers of these questions. On top of that I'm also curious about a few other things....
Exactly what kind of genre does His and Her fall under? I'm aware that it was made after Eva so does it share similar qualities? Is it what appears to be a normal anime when in reality there are darker sides to it? Is it somewhat of a comedy with some romance involved similar to Tenchi or Ah! My Goddess? What is it exactly?
My second question would be is it good, but that's kind of pointless since I'm sure there's noone in this forum who would say much negative about it. Why would you be here then?
I'm interested in getting the first DVD and the box when it comes out here, but I'm just a little skeptical since I don't really know anything about it. Most anime titles I do a little research on before I make a purchase, but with this one there really isn't that much out there that I can find. Just a basic summary of the begining of the show.
Anyways, if anyone could answer these questions for me I would appreciate it. Thanks

It's some sort of Shoujo cross-over.
The female lead's perspective with the emphasis on romantic relationships give this a strong shoujo component. It has a balance with the guys perspective that is lacking in most of the pure shoujo series though. So, it's almost like an extension of the Shoujo genre plus romantic comedy.
As for good/bad. The first six episodes are in the same class as some of the all time classics such as Kimagure Orange Road and Maison Ikkoku. Too bad it wasn't able to keep this up. It limped into the finish with "above average" epsiodes after a "spectacular" opening.

its pretty good check it out, the thing was some ppl didnt like the ending much but i thought it was okay cause the reason was that the project was rushed etc... but still its a pretty goood show about high school life, relationships, all mixed with comedy :D
i agree with iwakura - but I'll add in there 'drama' as well.

The dub to Kare Kano is fantastic! My only problem is that Yukino's sisters can get VERY annoying...
I love Arima's voice in the dub. It's quiet yet still assertive.
*hugs Arima plushie*

I love it too, but my brother says that it's a bit too creepy. He said that Arima (in the dub) makes the phrase "Everything will be alright," sound suspicious. My mom thought he just sounded depressed. . . all the time.
The dub's pretty decent than most, and it's done by Right Stuf Intl. I think there is about 8 volumes of this series (I've seen up to 2).

It'll be about 6 actually if I remember correctly. The box that came out with the first volume can't hold 8 I know that.

I'm sure TRSI will release 5 volumes (6/5/5/5/5).

LOL...he still sounds a little... haunted, I guess. You can really sense that the real Arima's still being repressed a tiny bit.
5-6 volumes?! Man, this series is a lot shorter than I thought. Though I shouldn't complain...
