What to expect?

I'm so intrigued by this OVA and i really dont know what to make of it... I absolutely love the artbook which is basically how i found out about Angel Sanctuary but i really dont know what it's about. I just bought the OVA series but haven't gotten around to watching it.

so erm... what to expect? does it suck? is it good?

Well if the art books are what got you into AS that is good because it’s a great series. Assuming you don’t read Japanese or you would have read the info in them and not asking about here I’ll give you the basics on the OVA.

While the artwork is very good in the OVA I personally don’t think it compares to the art in the art books. Yuki-sama is a genius. :bow:
Don’t expect to have a very clear understanding of AS after seeing the OVA or even expect to know who half the characters in the art books are because you won’t find them in the OVA.

It is however, a very good way to get a your first taste of the AS story. The OVA is what got me hooked. So it’s well worth watching but it will only serve in leaving you wanting more. :D
