That was pretty funny. I liked the Hellsing anime well enough.

I am a practicing Christian but I don't see what is all that offensive about the show (then again I am not Roman Catholic). It is after all a fantasy story and was not meant to be anything else. If one is going to be anal about it, any show/movie/book that had even a smattering of the occult in it would be banned. THAT would be a tragedy.

Granted the show is not for kids and was not made to be. I don't agree with sugar coating elements or changing the original creators' artistic visions. I am of the opinion that if it offends you, don't patronize it, nuff said.
