the magi's names...

have you ever took the time to look up the names of the magi? i found out that all three of the names are biblical in origen, for instance- melchior - he was the savior of jesus after jesus died, melchior brought jesus back to life! and casper- casper was the first human in the bible to draw blood from jesus, and balthasar is virjin mary's gaudian in the bible

this ads an entir new perspective for me in the evangelion series...

I thought that it was pretty clear that Evangelion was based (sort of) on the Bible - Revelations Mostly
They based it on the Bible not the Japanese religon (Shinto I think) So that Evangelion would be known World wide
In Revalations there is something about a Woman in red, riding a Red beast - Sounds Like Auska and Eva-02 (scary, huh) Execpt that the woman in red is a Hooker.
Theres also something about 7 Angels and 7 plauges (the plot thickens)
And this was suppose to be in the Final Days
So it is really based on the Bible
BUT its still a story

i looked in one of those bible dictonaries and looked up those names.

the magi are three wise men, but those aren't there names- i am not certain though, all i know is that if you go to advfilms.com, it will have a story line about the magi's names
