I got a GameBoy Advance the other day...,

My hubby bought it for me (& he's now sorta regretting it.., :heh: )..., yeah.., I know that I slagged off the GBA in the past coz the screen was way too dark (it still is)..., but the few games that I've played on it, more than makes up for it..., Golden Sun, & Breath of Fire are amazing..., :D
I would have never thought that a handheld console would be able to produce such wonderful gameplay & graphics on such a tiny cartridge..., & before you say "what about Zelda on the GB Color".., I didn't have one of those...,
All I want now are Ogre Tactics, Golden Sun 2, & Breath of Fire 2..., then I'll be in RPG heaven..., :D

So I take back all the bad things I said about the GBA..., coz it bloody rocks..., :D

I've to agree that the screen is a lil bit dark.....buying a GBA light-set might help.
I've also played Golden Sun....looks great.....I was impressed myself.....such a great graphics and gameplay.
I owe a GBA myself, so far I'm happy with it!:D
Btw.....why's your hubby regretting buying you a GBA? Is it because you spend more time on the GBA games rather than with him?:heh:

30-40 bucks can solve yours and my only single complaint. I had what is called the "Afterburner" installed into my GBA. Its basicaly something that "oh so perfect Nintendo" should have done to begin with.

DO NOT attempt to install the kit yourself unless you have extream expertise in many areas. A small rotory tool, soldering, and very steady hand are needed. Also DO NOT TOUCH the AR Flim. Have you played Advance Wars...? It's a turn based war strategy game..., it has very cutesy graphics..., & it's bloody addictive..., I can't stop playing it..., :heh:

And Ogre Tactics looks mental..., *drools* But it looks like I'll have to import it from the US..., :(

It's Tactics Ogre and it's not even realesed in the US yet. I CAN NOT wait to get it. I loved the PS version, now I can't wait to play it on those boring car trips!

Are you sure that it hasn't been released for the GBA yet...? I keep seeing it on auction on eBay..., & according to the nintendo website..., Tactics Ogre was released on 1st May 2002..., :confused:

But at least you get it in the US...., I'm gonna have to import mine as there's no European release scheduled..., :bawling:

Actually, you pathetic waste of human tissue, Fiend is a fully grown, happily married woman with a husband who could kick your ass in less than 0.5 seconds. But anyway, you guys are great at getting off topic. :rolleyes: The gameboy advance sux for the following reasons,

1) Nothing but tired old mario games that came out for a system 6 years ago
2) Graphics that are little better than Gameboy Color
3) Terrible selection of software, (with the slight exception of Sonic Advance)
4) Probable death of the system is imminent due to poor sales so future titles are looking grim.

But hey if you enjoy playing it, more power to you, but then again there are people that enjoy sticking knives in their bodies. I believe the term is masochist? :rolleyes:

Its been out for a while now. Its just really really hard to find. IM glad I reserved it when it came out or I probably still might not have it. I have noticed store have been getting more copies in though lately. The game kicks much ass and if you liked any of the other Ogre series games you should definatley get this one.
