hey i just picked something up from the first ep. You know when the tanks are all lined up on the side of the mountain, waiting for the Angel? Well, the UN tanks are all Green, a standard color representing military equipment or vehicles. But, i just found out that the UN tanks are meant to be blue, as well as the UN troops, also the official colors for the UN are blue and white. How did the doods at Gainax stuff up on this?

Well maybe in 13 years time the UN will change its colours from Blue/White to Green :rolleyes:

That's highly unlikely coz if they changed to green, then the other army's will hafta change their colors 2, so that they can tell the difference between them...

Well you sure payed alot of attnetion to the first episode, maybe uhh . . . Gainax uhh . .

Being a state of war, they would've changed from peacetime colours into their camouflage colours.

Maybe they didn't have any of the regular blue tanks in Toyko-3. They could have just gotten some Japanese tanks and slapped the UN letters on them.

It may or may not matter, but i'm just wondering why Gainax wouldn't have noticed that the tanks were meant to be blue instead of green.

The UN presented in Evangelion is a much more powerful and militaristic UN then the toothless tiger we have. Also, imagine the cost of having to paint all those tanks white!
