the first one

Tenchi Muyo in Love- where he goes back to the 70's

the second one

Daughter of Darkness- where tenchi's daughter comes back in time to the 20th century.

finally the 3rd

Tenchi Muyo in Love 2- where he marries Ryoko.

i bought tenchi muyo in love. i think it was the best tenchi movie. it had a good story,good characters,a little romance,and some really good animation.

the second one,"Midsummer Night's EVE"(a.k.a. Daughter of Darkness.Pioneer gave it a new name for some reason.)
is realated to the OVA series.

the other two take place after the tenchi muyo t.v. series, Tenchi Universe.

Tenchi Forever is a direct sequel to Tenchi Muyo in Love.

Well it is bebatable as to what movie is OAV related and what ones arent,

the first movie would pass as been OAV related, but most people cry out that Kyione is in it so it isnt.

of course Kyione is in teh OAV special.

the second movie is neither here nor there, the characters sort fo act OAV but at other times they dont,

the third, people say it is OAV related i have no comment at the moment, though it cant be OAV as Kyione is in it (said sarcasticly)

and it is obvious that Tenchi chooses Ryoko. :( and marrage is not far off

What's really cool is that i have a huge tv with big bad speakers.when i pump up the volume you could hear the DVD from a mile away(okay i exaggerated a little...a little.)
