vol 1 & 2 should be out on wednesday 12th june, with vol 3 & 4 coming on august 14 along with Cowboy bebop 1 & 2, gundam wing 1 & 2, death & rebirth and kenshin vol 6

I got Boogiepop today and viewed the first DVD. It is very strange, in the mould of Lain but different. The music is really creepy, I thought it was great but still don't understand it all yet.

Have you listened to the director's commentary (well, the American guy from Rightstuff or something)

It kinda put things together for me... It's also pretty cool listening to them about how they felt about the series and how they did it (music etc)

Yeah I did listen to that commentry, it was interesting and helped me understand it all a little better.

I like the opening, as it suits the title... :D

But the closing seems a bit too 'poppy' for me...

I got and watched the second DVD and I am still a little confused. I hope it comes together in the end; it is a great show.

I looked at the back and.. .in the extras it says fruits video... what is it?

Is it a trailer for fruits basket?

The fruits video is REALLY strange. Really creepy and not very cool.
